In the mass production of the thread parts of a company in northern Henan province,the thread gauge is used to detect the dimension accuracy of thread parts.Thread gauge is divided into thread ring gauge and thread plug gauge,which is used to detect the thread ring gauge of the external thread.Its conformity is mainly to use thread calibration gauge to qualitatively judge it.The detection method has some limitations such as the risk of error in determining the conformity of thread ring gauge and the high price of thread calibration gauge.Under the existing measurement conditions,how to provide a method that can calculate the diameter of the thread ring gauge and realize the quantitative detection of the thread ring gauge,Therefore,it is very important for the company to save economic cost and improve product quality to reduce the input cost of thread proofread gauge and avoid the quality risk caused by the application of unqualified thread ring gauge.In this paper,an improved scheme is designed: the model of thread ring gauge and thread calibration gauge is constructed,and the geometrical relationship between the axial fit gap and the virtual pitch diameter of thread ring gauge is derived.By measuring the axial clearance of the thread ring gauge and the thread calibration gauge,the specific values of virtual pitch diameter of thread ring gauge is indirectly calculated.According to the calculated values of thread ring gauge and the Taylor principle,the quantitative judgment of the conformity of the threaded ring gauge is to be realized.An electronic universal tester is used as a measuring device in the test,and a set of test kits is designed and manufactured to place thread ring gauge and thread calibration gauge.In the initial state of the test,the axial gap is pressed on one side of the thread teeth by means of spring elastic force.The electronic universal tester is used to apply pressure to overcome the spring elastic force and gradually transfer the gap to the other side of the thread teeth.The change in the axial clearance of this coordination can be read out as the displacement of the electronic universal tester.According to the function relationship between radial and axial clearance in the operation of thread ring gauge and thread calibration gauge,the virtual pitch diameter of thread ring gauge is calculated and compared with the virtual pitch diameter of qualified thread ring gauge,so as to achieve a quantitative judgment on whether the thread ring gauge is qualified or not.The experimental results show that the scheme achieves indirect quantitative detection of the diameter of the thread ring gauge,and achieves the same pitch and teeth type parameters of different thread ring gauge with only one thread pair gauge to detect,reducing the input of thread pair gauge.The measurement cost and quality risk are reduced.
