| The thread connection is the weakest part of OCTG. Oil thread gauge, as a special equipment to measure the quality of pipe thread, could not meet the calibration requirements by traditional measuring method due to its own characteristics. Coordinate measuring machine, as a versatile, high automation, high-precision measurement system, is widely used in the advanced manufacturing and scientific research. Based on the research of CMM calibration thread gauge, the thesis tries to develop a serial of high-precision software in oil thread gauge calibration, to meet the safety specification of OCTG, which is widely used in oil drilling industry.Through researching and analyzing the sources of error in calibrating thread gauge with coordinate measuring machine, the author construct the mathematical model of the dynamic error, and focus on how to detecting and compensating the dynamic error.Based on the study, experiments and analysis of the control parameters in three aspects, coordinate measuring, measurement line and scanning probe, the author proposed the best control scheme to calibrate thread gauge. With the establishment of mathematical model during the calibration automatic measurement and data processing of coordinate thread gauge, the control scheme is implemented and applied in the software system used for the calibration of oil screw gauge.This thesis designed the framework of oil gauge calibration software, and based on the software design and measurements, created a program of calibrating oil gauge. The software has achieved a great improvement in the efficiency, accuracy of calibration data and reproducibility, which could satisfied the requirements of API thread gauge calibration.The project combined the theoretical research and practical development successfully; as a result, it developed the software used for oil thread gauge calibration, and built a solid foundation for automatic calibration of the oil thread gauge. |
