As the main means of transportation for natural gas and petroleum energy,oil and gas pipelines are mostly buried in the ground.They are prone to galvanic effect with soil media to form electrochemical corrosion,making the pipe wall thinner and even perforation and leakage.Corrosion inhibition is extremely important.As an important technology to inhibit pipeline corrosion,cathodic protection has been widely used in the field of long-distance oil and gas pipelines.However,due to the complex geological environment of long-distance oil and gas pipelines,relying on manual collection and adjustment of pipeline potential not only consumes manpower and material resources,but also affects the efficiency of cathodic protection.This paper designs and develops a cathodic protection device for oil and gas pipelines based on the station control system for the station control system in the SCADA of long-distance oil and gas pipelines.The cathodic protection device can realize the collection of pipeline potential,device output current and voltage and environmental parameters,and transmit the data to the upper computer of the station control system for data analysis to obtain the ideal potential value,and accept the potential adjustment of the upper computer of the station control system The command finally adjusts the pipeline potential in real time and accurately through the comparison and processing of the data,so that the pipeline continues to be kept in a better protected state.This article uses the RS-485 bus to realize the data transmission between the cathodic protection device and the host computer monitoring platform of the station control system.At the same time,NBIOT network communication technology is used for remote data transmission,so as to achieve accurate and real-time monitoring effect for the long-distance cathodic protection process.The simulated soil solution and simulated auxiliary anode were used to build an experimental environment,and the potential regulation and communication performance of the device were tested and the results were analyzed.The test results show that the cathodic protection device developed in this paper is designed accurately,the control and communication performance is stable in real time,and the pipeline potential can be effectively controlled at the given potential value of the station control system,which meets the monitoring design requirements of the station control system.It greatly improves the remote monitoring capability of the station control system for pipeline cathodic protection projects and effectively reduces the corrosion rate of the pipeline.
