Lithium is one of the major mineral resources in my country,and due to its strong metallic activity,emerging industries such as new energy power generation batteries,photovoltaic energy storage,and traditional such as glass ceramics and lubricants.It has essential uses in the industry.China is currently at an important moment of economic reform,technological innovation and industrial structural change.With the establishment of the theme of "carbon neutrality",lithium as a major mineral resource for new energy development is related to the lifeline.Of the development of the new energy industry in my country.The current global lithium trading market shows a pattern of separation of supply and demand,the price of which is controlled by an oligarchy.My country is the world's lithium consumer.Currently,my country has proven about 8 million tons of lithium reserves(calculated as lithium carbonate),80% of which is salt-lake lithium mineral resources,the ratio of magnesium to lithium.In salt lakes,it is much higher than other salt lakes in the world.Promote development and utilization.In 2019,my country's dependence on lithium resources is high at 73.6%,so it is very important to forecast future demand for lithium resources in China and evaluate the supply and demand situation.This paper forecasts China's lithium resource demand by combining a gray forecast model with sectoral forecasts that combine certainty and quantitative methods,based on actual data from2011 to 2020.Assuming an overview of the world and China's lithium resources and understanding of supply and demand patterns,this article will cover reserves production ratio,external dependence,global share of domestic resources,global share of domestic resource consumption,growth rate of domestic resource consumption.Seven metrics,market concentration and market controllability,are used to assess the current supply and demand situation of China's lithium resources using the BGR-VW radar method.Through the analysis,it can be concluded that the demand side has a great influence on the supply.The order of supply and demand of domestic lithium resources,supply side,and market side.In order to maintain the sustainable development of China's lithium resources,at the same time,considering the supply and demand contradictions faced by the actual situation of China's lithium resources,this article makes policy recommendations under the following assumptions:Advocate.Protect the ecological environment and promote the development of domestic lithium resources.Increase investment in research and development of lithium extraction technology from salt lakes,reduce production costs,and at the same time optimize China's lithium battery industry chain.,Develop a chain to increase the recycling rate of lithium-ion batteries in China,allocate upstream,midstream and downstream resources appropriately to realize the entire lithium battery industry;Actively participate and govern the world's lithium mines.The above proposal can better realize the "domestic and international dual cycle" system and realize the healthy and sustainable development of lithium resources in China.
