Coal is a leading energy source and an important chemical raw material,and it plays a vital role in economic development in China.With the gradual depletion of shallow coal resources,the deep coal mining in China has shown an increasing trend,and safety accidents occur more frequently during coal production.With the development of the economy,safety issues in the process of coal mining development have received more and more attention from the state,the public and enterprises.Therefore,how to effectively improve coal mine safety risk identification and control management technology is related to the long-term development of coal industry.This research aims to establish an effective underground coal mining safety risk identification and dynamic control management system to ensure the safe production of national coal resource.Base on the comprehensive investigation of causes and laws in coal mine roof accidents,a combined research method with theoretical analysis,numerical modeling and field investigations was used to identify risk sources and rank the risk levels.Firstly,main risk sources of coal mine roof were determined considering the operation of on-site production system,and then different risk levels were formulated.Secondly,the corresponding identification principles and classification methods are proposed.Subsequently,the safety risk management and control measures of coal mine roof disasters are put forward.Finally,through practical coal mine application,the safety risk identification and control management methods of coal mining roof disasters are further improved,and the correctness of the proposed safety risk management and control measures is proved.The results show that:(1)There are five major disaster safety risks in the coal mining production: roof risk,fire risk,flood risk,coal gas risk and dust risk.The risk of coal mining safety risk sources divided into different levels.The identification of risk sources and the classification of risk levels are helpful to strengthen the management of coal mining safety risks.(2)Accident risk identification and roof safety risk assessment are the foundation,risk hierarchical control is the center of the system,unsafe behavior control is the top priority,hierarchical responsibility system is an important guarantee for system implementation.Establish a full roof safety risk classification management and control responsibility system.By continuously solving new problems in the operation of the system,formulating corresponding control measures and supervising their implementation,the occurrence of accident losses is continuously reduced,so as to continuously identify risks in the production process.Make it always under control during the development process and the development process to ensure that coal mining enterprises are in a virtuous circle.(3)According to the risk level classification model,the risk assessment of the roof of the roadway reserved along the gob of Binhu Coal Mine was conducted,and the initial assessment result was level C.In response to the problems in the roof safety assessment,improvements were made in terms of technical personnel,equipment,environment and management.After the improvement,the roof pressure and roadway deformation were all within a controllable range,and the pillars did not appear to penetrate the bottom again.After that,the model was used again to conduct risk assessment on the improved roadway,and the assessment result was Grade A,which greatly improved the level of roof disaster risk management and control.
