With the rapid development of modern science and technology and the continuous advancement of the wave of globalization of the world economy,the competition in the international toy market is becoming increasingly fierce.The rapid upgrading and diversified development of toy products have brought new challenges to the traditional toy industry.Mattel Toy Company,as the world's leading traditional toy manufacturing company,has also been impacted by the rapid change of toy market demand and fierce market competition.In the face of increasingly fierce market competition,process optimization based on lean production becomes an effective way to enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises.Process optimization from the perspective of lean production has been universally applied and widely promoted in many enterprises.Mattel Shenzhen is a branch of the world toy giant Mattel Toy Company in China,It is positioned at the front end of Mattel Toy Company's toy supply chain,and it is responsible for the procurement and manufacturing of related products of Mattel Toy Company.This paper takes Mattel Shenzhen Company as the research object,and the optimization of toy testing process as the research theme.Focused on the status quo of toy testing process of Mattel Shenzhen Company,to demonstrate the problem of long cycle of toy testing process from three aspects of comparison of enterprise benchmarking,customer satisfaction survey and the requirement of the company development strategy;According to the data record and statistics of the testing site,further used the analysis method of ASME value-added analysis table,value stream analysis and testing-site management elements(4M1E)to analyze the toy testing process,as so to find out the root cause for the long cycle of toy testing process,that is:there are non-value-added and unnecessary processes in toy testing process,the waiting caused by batch testing,waste of shelving and moving in site;Based on the above reason analysis,used the process optimization and lean production related theories and tools such as ECRS principle,single-piece flow,equalization principle,standard operation and site environment layout,etc.The optimization scheme is put forward by adopting the optimization schemes of reducing the non-value-added and non-essential working procedures in the toy testing process,changing batch testing into single-piece flow testing mode,and improving the three elements related to personal,methods and environment layout in testing site management.And really to reduce the waiting,shelving and other unnecessary waste in the toy testing process,to shorten the toy testing cycle,and to improve the toy testing efficiency.Finally,put forward the implementation steps,the key points and relevant safeguard measures of the optimization scheme of Mattel Shenzhen company toy testing process.In this paper,lean production theory and process optimization theory and tools are used to optimize the toy testing process of Mattel Shenzhen Company.The whole research process and results provide the important reference value and some reference significance for the optimization of product testing process in many third-party testing industries and institutions around the world.
