Natural gas is a principal energy source in China,its exploitation and usage are increasing year by year.Gas well is both the source of natural gas production process and a critical link in natural gas production.Usually,gas wells are far apart and unevenly distributed in the field.Traditionally,Gas well is inspected manually,which is timeconsuming,laborious and hard to identify problems and faults timely and accurately.Besides,the safety of inspection worker cannot be guaranteed.Based on these factors,it's crucial to control the whole process of natural gas production in real-time.Therefore,this research is focused on the design of a real-time remote monitoring system for wellhead operation status.The author first analyzed the domestic and foreign research status and trend of remote monitoring system of natural gas wellhead.This research delivered an outline design scheme on multi-layer real-time remote monitoring system for wellhead operation and its functional structure,according to actual monitoring requirement of Sulige natural gas reserve's gas wells and operation areas and current communication technology.On the ground of natural gas gathering production process,field network and equipment performance,this research studied the long-distance data storage,transmission scheme and fault detection of well head.(1)Since different wellheads have various sensors and equipment,collected data's formats are inconsistent.To tackle this problem,the writer standardized the format of data storage and transmission by defining wellhead flow,pressure,temperature and other parameters based on Modbus TCP protocol.Signal instability caused failures in long distance data transmission.After the comparison of wireless digital radio,wireless bridge,4G communication and optical fiber communication,the author designed a multi-well data transmission scheme based on wireless bridge to ensure the continuity and stability of signal.(2)To overcome the faults,such as natural gas leaks and abnormal shutdown of intercepting valve,this research studied anomalous features detection and classification based on grey relationship analysis and K-Means clustering algorithm.In addition,it suggested an RBF neural network detection model to improve safety and stability of wellheads which could provide effective detections on natural gas leaks and abnormal shutdown of intercepting valve.Lastly,on the basis of the above technologies,combined with the actual situation of wellheads,gas gathering station and monitoring center,the author developed the remote real-time monitoring system of wellheads operation.This system realized the functions of real-time data monitoring,valve control,alarm prompt,data storage,report generation and fault detection and conducted a practical value in natural gas production.
