Design Of Remote Monitoring System For Sewage Treatment Based On Android Client

Small cities and towns' sewage-treatment plant lagged behind the overall automation level,had difficulty in data acquisition,and dispersed geographically.As a remote monitoring terminal,Android client has the advantages of system openness,good user experience,easy to carry and unlimited workplace.Therefore,it is the main content of this paper to develop a remote monitoring system based on Android for small towns' sewage treatment.Firstly,in consideration of the functional requirements of monitoring system for small town's sewage-treatment plant,we complete the overall design of remote monitoring for sewage treatment.And the monitoring system is divided into three modules: field execution module,data transmission module and Android client monitoring module.Secondly,we complete the hardware and software design of field execution module and data transmission module.According to technological process,the microcontroller MSP430F5438 A gives action commands to complete the procedure of sewage treatment by analyzing the acquired data.The upper computer can monitor the status of on-site sewage treatment through the Modbus protocol.The data transmission module uses GPRS network to upload underlying sewage treatment status information to the server,and adopts the heartbeat packet mechanism to maintain the TCP connection with the server.Furthermore,it's able to send SMS to the operator in case of on-site failure to ensure timely treatment.Finally,we complete the design of Android client remote monitoring module.The Socket server was set up to communicate with the field terminal,the received information was stored in the My SQL database,and the web server was set up to provide the service interface for the Android client,so as to meet the functional requirements of the Android client for login registration,real-time monitoring,historical data query and other modules.
