With the rapid development of science and technology and the great prosperity of social economy,people's material living standards are improving day by day.At the same time,huge competition and pressure for work and study have also been generated.The vast majority of people are in a sub-healthy state.Therefore,people are paying more and more attention to health and fitness.In order to reduce the impact of weather and virus transmission in outdoor and public places,home fitness has become the best choice for improving the quality of health.Among the wide range of home fitness equipment,treadmills are the most popular.Under the premise that the mechanical performance and power technology of treadmills have been relatively mature,a good human-machine interface can further improve the fitness efficiency and operating experience of user.Therefore,the optimization of the man-machine interface has become a new design breakthrough,but the theoretical research and design practice of manmachine interface optimization for home treadmills based on user needs are relatively small.Based on the analysis of the above problems,this article takes the analysis of user needs as the starting point,and combines the advantages of the Kano model(Kano)and the principle of quality function deployment(Quality Function Deployment,QFD)to carry out research on the design of the human-machine interface of the home treadmill.The main research contents are as follows :(1)The user interview method and the KJ method are used to complete the acquisition and preliminary classification of the user needs of the home treadmill.Designing standard Kano questionnaires based on the acquired user needs,and calculate the corresponding Kano attributes after statistics of the survey results of various needs,combined with the importance of user needs self-rating,user satisfaction index calculation,demand four quadrant diagram and demand adjustment improvement rate based on the calculation results of the various indicators of the Kano model,the comprehensive score and order level of the importance of user needs based on the Kano model are obtained.(2)According to user needs and the product characteristics of the human-machine interface of the home treadmill,a mapping model of user needs and design elements is established,so as to obtain interface design elements corresponding to user needs.Analyze the degree of correlation between user needs and design elements according to the mapping relationship and establish a correlation matrix between the two.By constructing a house of quality model,the user needs,user demand comprehensive scores,design elements,and correlation levels are input into the house of quality to obtain the design the relative importance value of the element,and the design priority analysis of the design element based on the above results.(3)Based on the analysis results of the priority of design elements,combined with the basic principles of interface design to form an interface information hierarchical structure,plan the interface layout by simulating the user operation process,and complete the interface lowfidelity design prototype.By analyzing the user's emotional needs and visualizing the vocabulary corresponding to the needs,the object is pixelated and then the corresponding color is extracted to form a complete interface color scheme.The text and icons are standardized and unified design,and finally the design of home treadmill man-machine interface is completed.The research topic combines the Kano analysis method and QFD to complete the analysis and transformation of user demands and design elements in the design of the human-machine interface of the home treadmill,providing a theoretical basis for the design practice part,and following the original design intention with user needs as the core,and improve the interaction efficiency of the man-machine interface and user operation satisfaction,it is a reference for the optimization design of the same type of man-machine interface.
