The mining of open-pit mines has deteriorated the surrounding environment.The frequent occurrence of geological disasters threatens the sustainable development of economy and society.In this paper,based on the study of a large number of domestic and foreign literature on ecological slope protection,the design principles of ecological slope protection are summarized.The rigid body limit equilibrium method based on herbaceous vegetation reinforcement and the rigid body limit equilibrium method under woody vegetation anchoring are put forward.Taking Niulankou stone mine slope treatment project as an example,the influence of vegetation on slope stability is studied by finite element software simulation and rigid body limit equilibrium method.The influence of vegetation on slope seepage field is analyzed by numerical method.The main achievements include the following:(1)The mechanical and hydrological effects of ecological slope protection are summarized.On the one hand,the root system of vegetation has the function of reinforcement and anchoring,which improves the slope stability.On the other hand,rainfall interception,erosion resistance and transpiration of vegetation can reduce the pore water pressure in the slope from the front or side,thus improving the slope stability.However,vegetation will also increase the occurrence of macropores,thus increasing the permeability coefficient of the slope,increasing the pore water pressure of the slope,and adversely affecting the stability of the slope.(2)The design principle of ecological slope protection is summarized,and the applicable scope of ecological slope protection technology is summarized.The rigid body limit equilibrium method,combined with herbaceous vegetation reinforcement model and woody vegetation anchoring model,is introduced.Finally,the influence of vegetation hydrological effect on slope is analyzed in detail.(3)According to the engineering geological conditions of the slope treatment project of Niulankou stone mine,and on this basis,combined with the design principle of ecological slope protection,the overall treatment scheme is determined.The slope is analyzed by rigid body limit equilibrium method and finite element software simulation.The results show that the whole slope of the 3 sections of the mine is in a stable state.However,the stability coefficient of 1-1 vegetation-free slope under rainstorm condition is less than 1.15,that is,the slope is unstable under rainstorm condition.After planting vegetation on the slope,the safety coefficient of slope is improved,but the pore water pressure of slope surface changes greatly than that of no vegetation slope,which shows that vegetation will affect the pore water pressure distribution on the surface of slope,that is,vegetation will accelerate rainwater infiltration during rainfall and induce shallow slope landslide.
