Software Research Of Hardware In Loop Simulation System For Diesel Engine ECU

The structure of diesel engine electronic control system is complex and it has many control parameters,so it becomes very difficult for its research and development work.The technology of hardware in loop simulation can effectively reduce the number of bench test required for the development of ECU,which can accelerate the progress of ECU research and development.In this paper,the development of software system and the target machine hardware developed by the hardware group of students together constitute the diesel engine ECU hardware in loop simulation system.This system can facilitate the software and hardware of ECU debugging and testing to find the defects in the design of ECU,which can shorten the time to market and avoid the accident of car recall due to the design defects of ECU.The main research work of this paper is as follows:In consideration of domestic and foreign research status diesel engine ECU hardware in the loop simulation technology and the condition of the laboratory,we have completed the diesel ECU hardware in the loop simulation system of the overall program design and determine the specific structure of the "host-target machine" form.Taking the YC6A260-33 diesel engine as the simulation object,combined with the design parameters,the model is divided into several parts.they are the turbocharger model,the middle cooler model,the diesel engine model and the fuel system model.According to the average mathematical model,the real-time simulation model of diesel engine is established by using Matlab/Simulink software.With Labview software as a development platform,the monitoring system program is developed on the host computer.The initial parameters of the diesel engine simulation model can be transmitted to the target machine through the interface of the monitoring system,and the data can be received from the target machine in real time and displayed on the user interface in the form of text or graphics.Host computer monitoring system,the target machine hardware and ECU together constitute the diesel engine ECU hardware in loop simulation system.The hardware in the loop simulation system is tested and debugged,and some functions of the system are verified.After verification,the development of the diesel engine ECU hardware in the loop simulation system is reasonable and feasible,and can provide a good online real-time simulation environment for the development and calibration of ECU.
