Home Lighting Control System Based On DMX512 Protocol

Lighting control system is one of the main research objects of intelligent home lighting.With the improvement of people’s living level,and also the development of computer technology,the intelligent lighting system and the intelligent light effect system become more and more important in people’s home life.Nowadays,all over the world,the effect of lighting control generally use professional console,these shortcomings of the console are: bulky,inconvenient to carry,the operation is complex,the price is relatively high,so it’s not suitable for using in individual homes.Usually,the controller used for individual home,mainly controls the light of the bright and dark,as well as the color change,also can’t meet some of the lighting effects of stage control.Therefore,it demands to design a set of entertainment effects of intelligent lighting,and the software for supporting the intelligent controller.This thesis analyzes the hardware and software of intelligent lighting control system and the application requirements,introduces the principle of intelligent lighting control system and the design goal,analyzes the mainstream and common control protocols,and makes the final plan.And then we start to design the hardware from the actual needs,which can be connected to the home router with WIFI signal,so that can be connected with intelligent light bulbs and smart lights,and also can be connected with the control box through the DMX512 signal.Then,we select 7 kinds of better lighting effects which are accorded to the professional entertainment lighting habits and preferences.Because of the limit of the home space,so after clever design,improvement,the original cumbersome professional lighting is made into a compact module,so that we can assemble them into the intelligent lighting.Then we introduce the overall structure of the main controller circuit board,and the selection of the single chip microcomputer and the design of each function module.And also we introduce the software platform construction and the software design.Finally,we have designed an intelligent lighting system,which is based on the control protocol of the Samsung’s microcontroller S3C2410 and DMX512,it has a simple structure and a stable performance,it’s easy and intuitive to operate,and it can read the scene from the SD card,so that we can control the system by our smart phone at anywhere as the area is covered by WIFI signal box.This control system mainly includes three parts: 1、the design of a series of stage lighting effects with intelligent home lights;2、the application of mobile phone design,3、the control box design.After testing,the functions of the system are stable,every module is running normally,it can basically achieve the results what we want it to be.
