Quality,cost and schedule are the three elements of project management,and schedule management will have an impact on cost and quality,so it becomes the focus of project managers.However,the existing project schedule management only focuses on the connection of each process,and ignores the resource constraints between each process in the process of project implementation,which makes the effect of project schedule management unsatisfactory.The critical chain schedule management technology introduces the constraint theory,and emphasizes the conflict of resources in the process of project schedule management,which is of great significance for project management schedule control and management.In this paper,FS rail transit control center equipment installation project schedule management as the research topic,through the use of critical chain model for its schedule management ideas.Firstly,the paper summarizes the research results at home and abroad,clarifies the related concepts and theories involved in the research process of the paper,which lays the foundation for the development of the research content of the paper;then,based on the critical chain model,it constructs the progress management process of the equipment installation project of FS rail transit control center,and applies it to the practice of the equipment installation project of FS rail transit control center To realize the combination of theory and practice.The project schedule management model based on the critical chain model includes two aspects:planning and project schedule control.In the process of schedule preparation,there are five aspects:project structure decomposition,key path determination,resource conflict balance,critical chain determination and buffer setting;in the process of schedule control,there are three aspects:dynamic progress monitoring,buffer management and schedule delay management measures.Using the model to manage the progress of the equipment installation project of FS rail transit control center shows that the progress management method can effectively ensure the completion of the project on schedule by eliminating the safety time and balancing the resource conflicts,considering the schedule from the whole project cycle,and finally adding the project buffer,import buffer and resource buffer.
