Evaluation Of Residents And Tourists’ Perception Of Authenticity Differences In Historic Districts

The historical district is the essence of a city’s historical and cultural heritage.Especially for those historical districts that have been preserved in an integrated and orderly manner,its rich historical and cultural heritage is the crystallization of predecessors’ wisdom and culture.For the purpose of inheriting history and continuing the context,the historical and cultural heritage of the historic district should be reasonably protected.At the same time,the historical and cultural heritage of the historic district also has the objective attributes of urban cultural assets,and tourism development is an effective means to realize its economic value.In the process of the protection and development of historic districts,the principle of authenticity is the norm that today’s historical and cultural heritage protection and heritage tourism development should follow together.In the process of protection and development,the effect of the principle of authenticity will be tested by people’s conscious perception.Therefore,the evaluation of people’s authenticity perception results in historical urban areas can provide important feedback for the effect of authenticity protection,and provide an important basis for the optimization and improvement of historical and cultural heritage protection methods.At the same time,it also points out how to better show the authenticity of historical and cultural heritage in the future.Based on this,the research on the evaluation of the authenticity of historic districts has certain theoretical and practical significance.For the research on the evaluation of authenticity perception,the research object,that is,who evaluates the authenticity perception results,is the first answer to be made in this research.There are two main types of perception subjects in the historical urban areas where tourism development has been conducted.That is,tourists and residents.Tourists are the target audience for the development and display of heritage tourism,while indigenous residents are the main native groups for the protection of heritage culture.Based on the differences in the identity attributes of the two,their perception of authenticity also differs.The feedback of the two types of subjects on the perception of authenticity is the focus of future historical district heritage protection and development.This research is based on this research to investigate the difference between the two authenticity perceptions.First of all,based on the authenticity protection work of the current protection and development of historic urban areas,the thesis draws up research topics based on human perspective and sensory experience,and clarifies the purpose and significance of the research.Then,by combing and summarizing related literature on domestic and foreign authenticity theories,perception theories,and differences in authenticity perceptions between tourists and residents,it was clarified that authenticity perception evaluation requires the comparison of two major subjects and three types of authenticity perception.The perspective that the dimension verifies the constructive effect of the overall authenticity perception lays the theoretical and practical foundation for the thesis.Then,through the related literature research,the factors of the three types of authenticity perception dimensions of tourists and residents were sorted out one by one,and a conceptual model of the authenticity perception of tourists and residents was constructed,and the necessity of comparing the authenticity perception of the two types of subjects was proposed.Secondly,the thesis selects Langzhong’s historical district,Langzhong Ancient City,as an empirical research object.It conducts two types of investigations on the perception of authenticity of subjects and collects data through questionnaires.Then it uses AMOS 20.0 software to perform structural equation models of tourists and residents.The fit was verified.Then,the weights of the evaluation indexes of the authenticity of the two types of subjects are determined by the entropy method,and then the comparison of the perception differences of the authenticity of the two types of subjects is carried out by the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to find the indicators of the authenticity difference of the two types of subjects.He provided feedback on the authentic protection and discovery of Langzhong Ancient City.Finally,the article combines the feedback of the two types of subject’s authenticity perception difference results,and proposes four levels of protection and improvement suggestions for the existing problems of authenticity protection and development of Langzhong Ancient City.
