The courtyard layout is a typical form of traditional Chinese architecture,and a large number of them exist on the campus of traditional colleges and universities in China.With the passage of time,courtyard-style buildings in traditional colleges and universities in our country have been aging to varying degrees,and can not keep up with the development of the times.Is a valuable asset of colleges and universities.In addition,contemporary education is moving towards diversified development.Communication and interaction have become the main form of classroom teaching,and the courtyard space provides a place for the transformation of the teaching mode because of its natural openness,creating an outdoor communication learning space and promoting teaching reform Of.In view of these actual conditions,it is imperative to renovate existing courtyard-style buildings in colleges and universities.At present,there are a large number of examples of renovation of existing college-style buildings at home and abroad,but there are not many theoretical studies on it,which leads to a lack of relevant theoretical guidance in practice.Therefore,this thesis is based on the research of the renovation design of existing courtyard buildings in colleges and universities,and discusses the related methods of the renovation design of existing courtyard buildings in colleges and universities,in order to provide reference for future practice.This thesis starts with the relevant concepts of the reform of college courtyard buildings,clarifies the development context of China’s courtyard buildings and college buildings,summarizes the types and characteristics of college courtyard buildings,and the transformation methods of existing buildings,and explains the college courtyard style The characteristics of the renovation of the building,and through the field survey,summarize and analyze the current status of the renovation of the existing courtyard buildings in universities,and refine the key points of the renovation;second,by analyzing the status quo and existing problems of the courtyard buildings of the universities,summarizing the motivation and face Based on the above content,the five major transformation principles of the existing courtyard-style buildings in colleges and universities,and the symbiotic relationship between the architectural space and the courtyard space during the transformation process are proposed.Finally,in view of the characteristics of the spatial relationship of "building-courtyard" in college courtyard buildings,this thesis explores the transformation design methods of college courtyard buildings through the logical relationship between architecture and courtyard expression types,and through two practices case demonstrates the previous research content.
