Analysis Of The Relationship Between Traditional Wooden Building Balcony And Scene

This article takes "scene" as the link between the building and the landscape environment,with the traditional wooden building balcony to explores the relationship between this structural approach and the construction of the architectural scene.First of all,I will review the current status of balcony research and explain the direction in which the author may continue to study.Introduce the concept of "scene",review its related theoretical research,clarify the concept of scene theory,analysis objects,research methods and research categories,and discuss the reasons for choosing to balcony to study architectural scenes.Then,I will comb the forms and meanings of balcony in the literature,images and examples,and analyze the changes in the shape and characteristics of balcony in different periods through historical review.On this basis,according to the theoretic structure of the scene,this paper sorts out the types of buildings related to balcony horizontally,and discusses the spatial characteristics and the order of related elements caused by different types of pedestal.According to the existing research data,the selection of cases is mainly concentrated in the Japanese Buddhist temple buildings,the Chinese pavilion buildings in the Tang,(Liao)and Song Dynasties,and the flat-seated buildings in the paintings of the Song and Yuan Dynasties buildings.The study of pedestal based on architectural examples will discuss the relationship between its structure and the religious building scene in light of the special space scene requirements of religious building ceremonies.This relationship is reflected in the single-storey building’s changing rules of the architectural space layout centered on the Buddhist altar,and in the pavilion building is reflected in the influence of the balcony structure on the upper and lower spaces of the pavilion.Take the pedestal architecture in the Song and Yuan Dynasties architectural paintings,starting from the perspective of the balcony and the overall environment and character scene activities in the painting,to understand the relationship between the pedestal and the life scene.This relationship is presented in the adaptive posture of the balcony facing different environments,The influence of the change of the pedestal space interface on the internal and external space scenes,and the external decoration changes based on the body’s perception.According to the analysis and research of these two aspects,it can be found that balcony is not only closely related to the external environment of the building,but also provides a link for the connection between human activities and natural places.In terms of the internal space of the building,the combination of pedestal and other building components,It meets the space requirements of different architectural scenes.For the architectural scene in the specific case,the balcony has a flexible adaptability,which is not only reflected in the interactive relationship between the pedestal structure and the space,but also in the changing state of the relevant architectural elements of the balcony space.It is hoped that through the above four aspects of research,a comprehensive analysis of the effect of balcony on the construction of the building scene,so as to try to explore an analysis and research method from the specific structural approach to the overall building scene relationship.The full text is about 54,000 words and 124 pictures.
