Building information modeling(BIM)is applied in construction projects to improve the production efficiency of the construction industry.However,due to the limitation of market environment,the application of BIM in construction projects in China has been uneven,and BIM Technology has not played its real value.In order to break through the bottleneck of the development of the construction industry,p romote the in-depth application of BIM in domestic construction projects and determine the effect of BIM application.Construction industry urgently needs to carry out relevant research on BIM capability maturity in construction projects.As we all know,maturity research mainly involves influencing factors and grade standards,and influencing factors are the basis and key of subsequent maturity research.Therefore,based on the perspective of maturity and the combination of dynamic and static,this paper explores the influencing factors of BIM capability maturity in construction projects and the mechanism between them,so as to improve the current situation of BIM application in construction industry,realize the deep application of BIM in construction projects,improve the BIM capability maturity in construction projects,and promote the perfect development of construction industry.Based on the overview of BIM technology,maturity theory,structural equation modeling and system dynamics theory,and combine d with the research status of BIM capability maturity at home and abroad,this paper studies the influencing factors and mechanisms of BIM capability maturity in construction projects.Firstly,the methods of literature research and expert consultation are used to identify the influencing factors of BIM capability maturity in construction projects and divide them into dimensions.Secondly,a survey scale is developed to obtain data,and structural equation model is used to carry out empirical research,and explore the static mechanisms of the influencing factors of BIM capability maturity in construction projects.Thirdly,based on the data of survey scale and structural equation model,the dynamic mechanisms of influencing factors of BIM capability maturity in construction projects is studied through system dynamics,and to explore the effect of dimension and influencing factors changes on BIM capability maturity in construction projects.Finally,according to the research conclusions of the influencing fact ors and the dynamic and static mechanisms of BIM capability maturity in construction projects,the relevant suggestions for the development of the BIM capability maturity in construction projects are proposed.24 influencing factors of BIM capability maturity in construction projects are identified and divided into 6 dimensions,such as technical capability,information capabilities and process management;The significance of action path among dimensions,and the significance of six dimensions had a signific ant impact on the positive correlation of BIM capability maturity in construction projects,such as technical capability,information capabilities and process management are demonstrated through the structural equation model;The corresponding effect curves and values of dimension and influencing factors on the BIM capability maturity in the construction projects are simulated through system dynamics;Finally,according to the research conclusions,improving the BIM application standard,creating the BIM application environment and other suggestions are proposed.
