Nowadays.the world today is entering the era of intelligent and digitalization.In the process of building smart cities,the important premise is that the digitalization of engineering digital engineering lies in digital design.The digital design results will become the main data of the engineering life cycle digital system in the field of power engineering.State Grid Corporation comprehensively promotes 3D visual design with BIM technology as the core in power engineering to improve the digital level of power engineering.Therefore,the theoretical research of BIM technology has become an academic hot spot,and project participants have become more aware of BIM technology.Deepening,but there is a lack of effective quantification of BIM application in power engineering.The actual application capability maturity between different projects cannot be compared horizontally.Quantify the maturity of BIM application capability and promote the enthusiasm of project participants.Firstly,this paper analyzes the electric power construction BIM technology application capability system,and summarizes the application ability of BIM technology in electric power construction projects from internal,external and whole process,all-factor and organization-wide perspectives.Secondly,the evaluation index system of BIM application capability maturity model is proposed,and the evaluation index and evaluation level of BIM application capability maturity model are explained.The BIM application capability maturity model is used to measure the application capability of BIM technology in electric power construction projects.Establish a BIM application capability maturity model suitable for the current development of China's power industry.Furthermore,it is guided by the gray comprehensive multi-level evaluation method,and the advantages of the method of determining the subjective and objective weights of the integrated weighting method are evaluated,and the application ability of the BIM technology in the electric power construction project is evaluated.Next,a typical case study was carried out.Four typical cases of UHV transmission lines,substations,thermal power plants and new energy wind power projects were selected from the official BIM competition in China,and the maturity of BIM in different types of projects was compared and analyzed.Finally,the implementation recommendations are summarized.The implementation recommendations are given from the external and internal aspects,from the perspective of enterprises,industries and technologies,to promote the development and promotion of BIM technology in China's electric power construction and other infrastructure.
