With the development of China’s aerospace industry,the demand for launch vehicles is increasing.The rocket frame is an important bearing part of the shell of the launch vehicle,and it has become one of the most important bottlenecks for completing various types of tasks.The traditional processing method combines bending and stamping,which requires more molds.The functions of each mold is relatively single and the correlation between them is poor.As a result,the quality of the arrow plate frame is poor and the production efficiency is low.In addition,a lot of experiments are needed before production,which wastes a lot of manpower,material and financial resources.In view of this phenomenon,this paper adopts the method of combining cold roll forming process with finite element simulation to process the rocket frame.The specific work done is as follows.(1)Based on the theory of cold roll forming process design,two kinds of forming schemes are put forward for the forming of several-figure section by choosing one of the specifications of rocket frame.They are equal forming angle difference forming scheme and variable forming angle difference forming scheme.According to the two forming schemes,the deformation distribution diagrams and roll matching diagrams of each pass are drawn,the three-dimensional modeling software SolidWorks is used to model and assemble the sheet metal and the upper and lower rolls of each pass in the cold roll forming process.(2)Based on the basic theory of explicit dynamic elastic-plastic finite element method,the forming process of the two schemes was simulated and analyzed by using the display dynamic analysis module of finite element analysis software ANSYS.The results show that the force and deformation of the sheet metal are very unstable when it enters the roll.If the forming angle of the initial pass is too large,it is easy to cause the stacking phenomenon.The maximum stress and strain of the sheet metal in the forming process occur at the bending angle of the contact between the sheet and the roll.The sheet metal is prone to produce large plastic deformation in the middle pass.By comparing the simulation results of the two forming schemes,it is found that the transformation angle difference forming scheme is better than the equal forming angle difference forming scheme.(3)According to the forming speed,angle and thickness of sheet metal,the influence of technological parameters on cold bending forming of arrow plate frame was studied.The simulation results of sheet metal at different forming speeds are analyzed and studied.It is considered that the optimal forming speed of rocket frame is lm/s.The simulation results of sheet metal at different forming angles are analyzed and studied.It is considered that the forming angle of the initial pass should not be greater than 10 degrees in the cold roll forming process design of rocket frame.The simulation analysis shows that when the thickness of the sheet is less than 2 mm,the deformation stability of the sheet can be improved by increasing the thickness of the sheet appropriately.
