Evaluation Of My Country’s Highway Transportation Efficiency And Analysis Of Its Temporal And Spatial Differences

In 2019,our country issued the "Outline for a Powerful Transportation Country",which puts forward the goal of building a modern transportation power country.Investment in transportation infrastructure has increased.However,with economic development,the flow of social production materials has accelerated,and people’s lifestyles have changed.my country’s transportation system Changes in various internal systems have had an impact on the transportation modes that were previously dominated by roads and railways.Therefore,clarifying the status quo of road transportation,measuring the efficiency of road transportation in various regions,and finding out the factors influencing efficiency are of extremely important significance to my country’s next transportation construction.Based on the above background,this article examines China’s road transportation,summarizes and analyzes existing research literature,builds a scientific road transportation evaluation index system,and examines the regional economic development level,industrial structure,urbanization rate,proportion of graded roads,railways The impact of operating mileage and private car ownership on the efficiency of road transportation;based on the above indicator system,using panel data from 30 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions in China from 2010 to 2018 as a sample,construct a stochastic frontier model based on the Cobb-Douglas production function Carry out an empirical analysis on the road transportation efficiency of each trend.The empirical analysis results show that in the stochastic frontier analysis model,γ=0.9999,which is significant at the 1%level,indicating the applicability of the SFA model;the frontier estimation parameters show that there is a positive relationship between road transport industry employees and road transport efficiency.The relationship is related,but this relationship is not significant;there is a significant negative relationship between road operating mileage and road transportation efficiency,and there is a significant positive relationship between road operating vehicle ownership and road transportation efficiency;the inefficiency equation shows that Among the influencing factors of transportation efficiency,the level of regional economic development,industrial structure,the proportion of graded roads,and railway operating mileage have a significant positive effect on the efficiency of road transportation.The urbanization rate has a significant negative effect on the efficiency of road transportation.Car ownership promotes the efficiency of road transportation,but it is not significant.In terms of provinces and cities,the road transportation efficiency of 31 provinces,municipalities and autonomous regions in China is relatively low,with an average value of only 0.278,which is far from the production frontier.There is room for improvement,and there is a serious polarization phenomenon;from a regional perspective,the efficiency of road transportation in China shows a gradual decline in the middle-eastern-west-northeast.The northeastern region is subject to the traditional solidified production structure,and the growth of road transportation efficiency is weak;In terms of time trends,during the nine years from 2010 to 2018,the efficiency of China’s road transportation has shown a steady growth trend as a whole,except for the decline in efficiency due to investment redundancy in 2013.Finally,based on the results of the empirical analysis,corresponding suggestions are made for the reform of my country’s road transportation,with a view to improving the efficiency of my country’s road transportation,improving the efficiency of transportation resource allocation,and realizing the development goal of building a strong transportation country as soon as possible.Figure 13 table 21 reference 45...
