In recent years,with the construction of large-scale urban gas pipelines,accidents such as fires,explosions caused by gas pipelines have been increasing,which has brought big loss to people’s lives and their properties.However,there are no effective measures to identify gas pipelines with hidden danger due to occupation or crossover.The catastrophic effect of these accidents on people and their properties highlights the urgent need to develop appropriate safety strategies for those who are in risks.Nowadays,the occupation and crossover caused by buildings and roads still rely on manual inspections without automatic detection methods.So this thesis proposed a method to identify a large number of hidden danger points and their associated gas pipelines’ geographic information based on high-precision remote sensing satellite images and GIS tools.This thesis consists of three main parts:the process of hidden danger points identification,the quick identification of hidden danger points,and the rapid calculation of hidden danger points’ characteristic data.In the algorithm design aspect,in order to rapidly identify the hidden danger points from remote sensing images,this thesis proposed the method of superimposing "the matrix of hidden danger identification area" and "the matrix of potential hidden danger targets".To determine the geographic information of hidden danger targets and their associated gas pipelines,this thesis proposed a marking method with prime numbers,which uses a prime number to identify a hidden danger identification area or a potential hidden danger target,and then generate the hidden danger identification area prime matrix and the potential hidden danger target prime matrix.At the same time,the prime number identification matrics are converted into 0/1 matrics to speed up the calculation efficiency.All hidden danger points within the range of the remote sensing images can be obtained at one time by the AND operation of two 0/1 matrics.Then,the characteristic data such as the hidden danger type and hidden danger level can be obtained rapidly by matching the hidden danger points matrix and the hidden danger level identification area primer matrix.What is more,the characteristic data such as the hidden danger distance and hidden danger area are calculated with the help of the primer numbers in the hidden danger target primer matrix.The method proposed in this thesis can reduce redundant geometrical calculation between gas pipelines and hidden danger targets,and it can determine hidden danger type and hidden danger level of gas pipelines accurately and rapidly.The performance of this method is much better on the occasion where there are lots of gas pipelines and surrounded buildings.
