With the development of mechanical and hydraulic transmission technology,the important transmission component for tractors,HMCVT,has good stepless speed regulation and higher work efficiency.At the same time,the power and fuel economy of HMCVT have been improved compared to other types of transmissions,therefore it receives more research attention.In the paper,we designed a performance test bench based on a novel HMCVT.Then,we design a key measurement and control system.Moreover,we propose relevant performance test indicators to improve the performance test of HMCVT.Meanwhile,the above processes provide a theoretical and practical basis for HMCVT performance improvement and control strategy and prepare for the final real vehicle application.Thus,the design of the performance test bench and control system are important for the research of HMCVT.At first introduces the principle of HMCVT and its performance test bench.Then,the related performance test indicators are explored based on the relevant transmission test standards and its characteristics.According to the related performance test indicators,the overall structural design of the test bench is carried out from the mechanical structure,hydraulic system,electrical circuit system and measurement and control system.Furthermore,we do some researches on test bench measurement and control system from two aspects of hardware and software.Then,for the hardware,according to the performance test requirements of the test bench,the selection of the main components of the test bench and the principle introduction,the electrical connection and control mode design of related components.For the software,we design the measurement and control system software combined with the data acquisition control module in the upper computer programming through LABVIEW.Therefore,the hardware and software have been combined.Finally,the test bench was debugged by the system and the calibration of the main components was completed.The performance of the developed HMCVT was tested with stepless speed regulation.The results showed that the control system of HMCVT bench can meet the related performance test requirements and has good stability and reliability.
