Teaching quality is the lifeline of school development,and scientific teaching quality evaluation system is the basis of improving teaching quality in Colleges and universities.With the rapid promotion of engineering education professional certification,the teaching process quality monitoring mechanism and the evaluation mechanism of graduation requirements are paid more and more attention.As the core content of the two mechanisms,the establishment of an output-oriented curriculum teaching quality evaluation system has become an important measure to improve the quality of curriculum teaching in Colleges and universities.Outcome-based education concept,Student-centered concept,and continuous improvement concept have also become the core concepts of curriculum teaching quality evaluation in Colleges and universities.Firstly,this paper defines the related concepts of curriculum teaching quality evaluation,discusses the connotation of "outcoming-based","student-centered" and "continuous improvement" concepts of engineering education professional certification,and analyzes the status and role of curriculum teaching quality evaluation in engineering education professional certification system.On this basis,through literature research,document retrieval,questionnaire survey and other ways,this paper explores the problems existing in the evaluation of college curriculum teaching quality.Finally,by analyzing the causes of the problems and drawing lessons,this paper puts forward the construction strategies of the curriculum teaching quality evaluation system from the aspects of adhering to the teaching quality evaluation concept based on engineering education p rofessional certification,improving the evaluation mechanism,optimizing the evaluation index system,strengthening the responsibility of the evaluation subject,and then,making rational use of case analysis for the interpretation.
