Homestay Design Based On The Influence Of Folk Culture In Xun County

According to the statistics of China Prospective Industry Research Institute,the transaction scale of online B&B market in China in 2019 was nearly 16 billion yuan.With the increasing proportion of B&B industry in tourism development,many B&B projects with different quality have emerged.However,due to the lack of local folk culture characteristics,the design of B&B is relatively "homogeneous",which brings the local flavor of different cities to tourists,and it is difficult to satisfy tourists’ psychological desire for simple folk customs during their journey.In order to make tourists experience the local customs better on the road,this paper focuses on the space design of the homestay which reflects the folk culture.The project base is located at the entrance of Dayao Mountain Scenic Spot,Xunxian County,Hebi City,Henan Province.Firstly,through the analysis of domestic and foreign research literature and practical cases,the development status of cultural homestay design is summarized,and the advanced design theory and practical experience are integrated into the scheme conception.Secondly,the development status and local folk culture of Xunxian B&B were investigated,and the local traditional handicrafts,ancient buildings,living customs and other elements were refined and summarized.Combined with the indoor and outdoor design principles,the spatial layout,streamline and zoning were divided.On this basis,combined with the unique local folk culture,the handicraft culture elements are applied to indoor and outdoor decoration by abstract extraction and concrete expression,which further deepens the tourists’ understanding of local humanities and folk customs.The significance of this paper lies in improving the cultural connotation and emotional design of B&B through the integration of folk culture and B&B space design,and finally achieving the feedback of design to cultural tourism and promoting the development of local tourism industry.
