Research On The Evolution Of Tai’an Ancient Gardens

Tai’an was built on Mount Tai and the city flourished because of it.Mount Tai had a great influence on Tai’an,especially the construction of ancient gardens.There have been many works on the study about landscape and culture of Mount Tai,most of which focus on the evaluation of sceneries,restoration and evaluation of temples and gardens,and environmental research in Tai’an;the geographical scope of the study is mostly concentrated on the southern foot of Mount Tai.River,Wenhe and other places;the research content is mainly garden landscape.In terms of space,there is a lack of taking Tai’an and Mount Tai as a whole to study the construction of landscape architecture in Tai’an area,and there is a lack of time to treat landscape architecture construction from the perspective of historical development.Therefore,this article summarizes the ancient gardens in Tai’an from the two aspects of time and space,and excavates the architectural characteristics of the ancient gardens in Tai’an.From the perspective of macro and development,this paper conducts research on the five aspects of Tai’an gardens: scope definition,development background,garden types,garden staging,and garden characteristics,and draws the following conclusions:Historically,the location of Yuezhi had changed continuously,and the city center of Tai’an has been constantly changed,resulting in a wide range of ancient gardens in Tai’an.Therefore,the spatial scope of this study covers the area under the jurisdiction of Yuezhi in history,and the time range is from the Qin and Han Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties.The unique natural background has created a unique landscape pattern of Tai’an City,providing a diverse garden environment for the development of Tai’an ancient gardens.The characteristics of Tai’an ancient gardens were formed by the emperor’s entrustment of Zen,religious beliefs,literature and art,political economy and other factors,which promoted the diverse types of Tai’an ancient gardens and the prominent mainstream,including not only royal gardens,private gardens,temple gardens,government office gardens,academy gardens,and ancestral gardens,There are also relics left over by the emperor’s entrustment of Zen,among which temples and gardens are the most prosperous.The ancient gardens in Tai’an are divided into distinct stages.The Qin and Han Dynasties were the period of garden formation,and the typical gardens included Dai Temple;the development period was from the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties to the Liao and Jin Dynasties.Typical gardens included Lingyan Temple,Haolishan Shrine,Bixia Temple,etc.;Yuan,Ming,In the Qing Dynasty,the construction of gardens became mature.At this time,the construction of gardens was prosperous,and there were more imperial palaces and imperial palaces.The ancient gardens in Tai’an have distinctive features.First of all,they have a wide range of geographical distribution and uneven distribution.The distribution of gardens is regionally obvious and the center is prominent,namely the Taishan distribution area with Taishan Middle Road as the center,the Taicheng distribution area with Daimiao as the center,the Chulaishan distribution area,and the Haolishan distribution area.The selection of garden sites is diverse,visible on hillsides and hidden in valleys,focusing on the creation of cultural atmosphere.Secondly,the construction of ancient gardens in Tai’an started from the Qin and Han Dynasties and flourished during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.The continuous integration of nature and humanity promoted the peak of Taishan landscape construction during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Finally,the ancient gardens of Tai’an are diverse in form,rigorous layout,beautiful environment and outstanding artistic conception.
