The SpaceFibre bus is a high-speed bus developed specifically for spacecraft,but there are few related test equipment.In order to test the performance of SpaceFibre nodes more conveniently,it is of great practical significance to design a SpaceFibre test system that can be used on a general-purpose computer.The PCI Express bus has been widely used since its introduction because of its excellent performance.And most general-purpose computers have PCIe interface,so this paper uses PCIe interface as the host computer interface of SpaceFibre test system.On this basis,this paper proposes the design and implementation of a PCIe-based SpaceFibre test system.Based on the full investigation of SpaceFibre bus technology and PCIe bus technology,this paper designs a PCIe-based SpaceFibre node test system.Based on the top-down design method,the hardware platform selection,firmware overall scheme design and Overall software design.The test system can communicate with other SpaceFibre nodes,and send and receive data according to the SpaceFibre protocol.It can automatically perform single test,multiple test,generate a variety of test data,with self-loop back and self-test function.In addition,the host computer provides functions such as test file generation in different formats,test file splitting,and text paging comparison,which is convenient for testing.The test result shows that the system has complete functions,can realize the communication between the host computer and the SpaceFibre node,and can complete the speed test of the SpaceFibre bus transmission process and the test of the correctness of the transmission data.The PCIe average read rate obtained by the test is 15.93 Gbps,the average write rate is 23.01 Gbps,and the average rate of SpaceFibre inter-board communication is 1.91 Gbps,both reaching the expected value.This system meets the needs of SpaceFibre node and host computer to exchange data and test SpaceFibre bus data transmission,and has important practical value for further research on SpaceFibre bus technology.
