| Mechanical and electrical engineering industry is related to the basic protection of people’s life and property,the improvement of people’s living standards and comfort and industrial safety production activities,and plays a great role in the process of social wealth creation.With the promotion of BIM information technology and the use of automatic mechanical equipment,the development of mechanical and electrical engineering industry and technology iteration are faster and faster,and the requirements for the first person responsible for the safety production of mechanical and electrical engineering projects project manager are increasing.Previous researches on the competency of engineering project managers mainly focus on construction project managers or project managers of construction enterprises,but not on Electromechanical project managers.Therefore,the author attempts to take the project manager of mechanical and electrical engineering as the research object,construct its competency theoretical model,and use the structural equation modeling software for empirical research.This paper first summarizes,analyzes and collates the research results of the competency of domestic engineering project managers by using the method of literature research.Combined with the interview contents of six front-line Electromechanical project managers,this paper constructs the competency theoretical model of Electromechanical project managers from four dimensions of knowledge,project management skills,personal characteristics,organization and leadership,This paper constructs a theoretical model of project performance of mechanical and electrical engineering project manager from two dimensions of task performance and peripheral performance.According to the theoretical model,the questionnaire was compiled to collect data.The initial questionnaire verified the reliability and validity of the scale.The normal distribution method was used to delete the valid data.SPSS statistical analysis software was used for factor analysis of the effective data to confirm the correctness of the model dimension division.By using Amos structural equation model analysis software,the competency model,performance model and competency performance model of electromechanical engineering project manager are establishedIn the part of competency model,the influence degree of the four hidden variables is knowledge,organization and leadership,personal characteristics,project management skills.In the knowledge dimension,the influence degree of each variable is: mechanical and electrical professional knowledge,economic knowledge,project management knowledge /legal knowledge.The influence degree of each variable in the dimension of project management skills is in the order of safety management,risk management,target control and communication management.In the dimension of personal characteristics,the order of influence degree of each variable is: professional ethics / self-confidence,learning development,self-discipline,stress management.In the dimension of organization and leadership,the order of influence degree of each variable is: influence,team execution,overall view,knowledge and employment,customer-centered.In the part of project performance model,task performance has more influence on project performance than peripheral performance.In the task performance,the order of influence degree of each variable is: quality,duration,safety and cost.In the peripheral performance,the influence degree of each obvious variable is in the order of owner satisfaction,superior satisfaction and project department satisfaction.In the calculation and analysis of competency performance standardized estimation model,the path coefficient between competency and performance is 0.78,which shows that the competency model of mechanical and electrical engineering project manager constructed in this paper has a certain predictive effect on project performance. |
