By 2019,there are 757 private colleges and universities in China,accounting for over 28% of the national total.They are an important part of China’s higher education sector,and the quality of education and teaching in private colleges and universities directly affects the quality of higher education in China.Under the current situation of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation",it is of certain theoretical value and practical significance to explore the integration of professional education and innovation and entrepreneurship education in private colleges and universities,promote the teaching reform of private higher education,improve the quality of private higher education,and promote the healthy development of private higher education.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is an introduction and an overview of relevant theories,which is divided into two chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.It mainly includes the overview of the research background,the domestic and foreign research on innovation and entrepreneurship development,innovation and entrepreneurship education,innovation and entrepreneurship model and schools,entrepreneurship education and professional education integration,engineering education and engineering education talents training,application of Hall’s three-dimensional structure theory.Finally,the research objectives,ideas and methods are put forward.The second chapter is an overview of relevant theories,mainly including definition and characteristics of engineering specialty,engineering education and engineering talent ability,innovation and entrepreneurship education,innovation and entrepreneurship education system,Hall three-dimensional structure theory and other key concepts definition and relevant theoretical analysis.The second part is the main part of this study,which is mainly divided into two chapters.The third chapter is the analysis and research on the current situation of innovation and entrepreneurship education in engineering major of private undergraduate universities.It mainly includes the research on the practical needs of the development of innovation and entrepreneurship education in private colleges and universities,the analysis on the characteristics of students in private colleges and the ideas of innovation and entrepreneurship education in engineering majors,the research on the current situation and existing problems of innovation and entrepreneurship education in engineering majors in private colleges and universities,and the advantages and disadvantages analysis on the innovation and entrepreneurship education system in private colleges and universities.The fourth chapter is a research on the three-dimensional structural model of the integration of engineering specialty education and innovation and entrepreneurship education in private universities.It mainly includes the investigation and analysis of the professional ability of talents in engineering majors based on the needs of enterprises,the investigation and research on the innovation and entrepreneurship ability,education status quo and psychological expectation of engineering students in private universities,research on the relationship between the integration of engineering education and innovation and entrepreneurship education,and then build a three-dimensional structural model of the integration of engineering specialty education and innovation and entrepreneurship education by taking the different development stages of the cultivation of innovation and entrepreneurship ability of engineering majors as the time dimension,CDIO education concept as the logical dimension of engineering education,the sum of the synergistic factors required by the integration of engineering professional education and innovation and entrepreneurship education as the factor dimension.The third part takes the engineering major of YG University as a case study,namely the fifth chapter.It mainly includes an overview of the education and teaching reform of YG University and its development process of innovation and entrepreneurship education,analyzes the effect,existing problems and causes of innovation and entrepreneurship education in YG University by using the engineering specialty innovation and entrepreneurship education and professional education integration of three-dimensional structure model,and finally puts forward relevant countermeasures for improvement.The fourth part is the conclusion and research prospect,namely the sixth chapter.
