Under the background of China’s economic transformation and upgrading,the country’s demand for engineering management professionals is increasing day by day.In order to cultivate professional and skilled personnel as the core objective of professional engineering management vocational education is also receiving more and more attention.Many studies have found that there is a gap between teaching and practice in the process of training talents for the integration of industry and education in China’s engineering management professional vocational education.The lack of practice-oriented curriculum and training;and the lack of an evaluation system for students to connect with enterprises.Talent cultivation is essentially a learning problem.Therefore,starting from learning theory,this paper argues that the reason for the above problems may lie in the fact that the current learning theory relied on is not compatible with the fundamental goal of vocational education training.On the other hand,contextual learning theory,which emphasizes contextuality,community of practice,and legitimate marginal participation,is more in line with the goals of vocational education cultivation.Therefore,firstly,from the perspective of contextual learning theory,this paper analyzes the causes of the problem of talent cultivation of industry-education integration and provides three reform directions theoretically;secondly,this paper collects secondary data of three typical cases at home and abroad and makes a detailed case analysis,which provides empirical support for the three reform directions;finally,this paper puts forward specific suggestions and measures for the talent cultivation path of industry-education integration of engineering management majors in Henan A Vocational College,and carries out expert evaluation on the suggested measures,and the results are feasible.In terms of theory,this paper analyzes and studies the integration of industry-education in engineering management majors in higher vocational colleges and universities,and has a deeper understanding of the connotation and essence of the integration from the perspective of context theory.It explains why higher vocational education based on traditional learning theories cannot fully realize the cultivation goals of higher vocational education.From the perspective of contextual learning theory,it proposes the reform direction of higher vocational education and enriches the theoretical research of vocational education.In terms of practice,this paper finds out the common problems and their causes that affect the integration of industry-education in engineering management,and then to make corresponding suggestions,so as to provide some reference suggestions for Vocational College A(or even other vocational colleges in China)to cultivate talents for the integration of industry-education in engineering management.
