| In recent years, great progress has been made in China’s higher vocational education. The industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation have become key development orientations for higher vocational education. However,as many case studies demonstrate, many domestic training bases – as the most important places of teaching at higher vocational colleges – exhibit problems such as giving no consideration to regional industries and also lacking cultural connotations of university campuses. This is caused by campus planning, and also attributed to the reasons of internal functions and spatial organization. Therefore, reconsideration needs to be given to the architectural design of training bases at higher vocational colleges in the new era of industry-teaching integration. In response to the above problems, this paper, according to the foreign trends of the construction of training bases and deficiencies in China, started with the study of composite design, and conducted in-depth research on over 30 domestic and foreign training bases, including many projects the author was involved before the graduate studies. This paper used the literature research method, case study method and investigation method for study in terms of the three dimensions of composite design of planning and layout, composite design of function integration and composite design of spatial organization, and summarized the design strategy under the three dimensions. Finally,by applying the design strategy to design practice, this paper obtained composite design strategies for the training bases at higher vocational colleges in the context of industry-education integration. The research in this paper is divided into four parts. The first part proposes questions, including the first and second chapters.First, clarify the research background and relevant concepts, and determine the significance of research based on the times.Secondly, introduce the concept of composite design according to the development trend of foreign training bases and the deficiencies in domestic training bases, and purpose corresponding design goals. The second part cover the core chapters of the problem analysis, including the third, fourth and fifth chapters. From the macro perspective, the third chapter studies the composite design of planning and layout of training bases in terms of industry-education integration and campus planning. The fourth chapter studies the composite design of functional integration at training bases in terms of training functions, composite function and types of composite functions from the intermediate perspective. From the micro perspective, the fifth chapter studies the composite design of space organization at training bases in terms of spatial organization models and elements of public space. The third part concerns the problem-solving,including the sixth chapter.First,it summarizes the composite design strategy as mentioned above, and apply the design strategy to the verification of practical projects. The fourth part is the conclusion. It reviews the design strategy research under this paper, and summarizes the relevant outcomes and research innovations. This paper analyzes the current status and classification of training bases at higher vocational colleges at home and abroad.Given the shortcomings of domestic training bases in the context of industry-education integration, this paper conducts research at the macro, meso, and micro levels, and puts forward corresponding design strategy, with a view to providing reference and inspiration for the design creation for training bases at higher vocational colleges. |
