To explore the rule of the decision-making of pedestrian violations at signalized intersection, this paper introduces theory of planned behavior into the research of the decision-making of pedestrian violations.Combined with individual attribute, psychological property, social factors and traffic environment parameters of the violation regulation pedestrians to set modified system of theory of planned behavior of pedestrian violations at signalized intersection.Observing the pedestrian mental characteristics and travel traffic environment parameters, and analyzing the differences of choice between different groups' violations decision.Through setting up gathering microscopic behavior model of pedestrians violations to reveal the causal relationship and effect between influencing factors of violation,to guide relevant departments to strengthen management of those who violate traffic regulations and to reduce the pedestrian violations.According to the influencing factors of pedestrian violations are various and complicated, expatiating the formation mechanism of violations decision.Adding factors variables of the past behavior and travel environment based on theory of planned behavior, analyzing the relationship among variables, and making use of structural equation model to set up multifactorial causality of planned behavior model of pedestrian violations at signalized intersection.Taking several signalized intersections in Wuhan as the research object,Combining with preliminary investigation and expert evaluation method to design questionnaire to get the factors of affecting pedestrians' planned traffic violations.Collecting 652 valid samples by observing the pedestrian mental characteristics and travel traffic environment parameters, results show that the data structure suitable for confirmatory factor analysis.Analyzing different groups' violations decision of sex, age, education background and driving experience by using single factor analysis of variance and independent sample T test method. Results show that there is no significant difference between differen groups of sex,age and education background on each index of the attitude of violation, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, the past behavior, travel environment and violation behavior intention.Making confirmatory factor analysis to multifactorial causality of theory of planned behavior model of pedestrian violations by using structural equation model, the evaluation results of adaptation degree to correct the model to get the better and all variables have positive influence to violation intention.Effect on pedestrian traffic violations decision from high to low in turn is past behavior, perceived behavioral control, travel environment, attitude of violation, subjective norm.Past behavior has higher positive effect on travel environment.Travel environment has positive obvious significance on perceived behavioral control. The index of violations consciousness effects decision-making of pedestrian violations with the highest levels. Moreover, the effect weight of distraction, frequency of previous violations, vehicles less on road is more important than other index.
