Adaptability Of Tujia Dwelling Construction System And Topological Deformation Of Public Space

The core issue of this paper is the activation and utilization of Tujia traditional timber structure residential buildings based on its own characteristics under the background of rapid social development,and attempts to provide new ideas for the activation and utilization of traditional wood structure buildings in China.From the macroscopic point of view,this paper observes the changes of Tujia folk houses.From the evolution of Ganlan architecture to the present,its basic structural system is the same.Tujia folk houses respond to geography,climate and commerce in settlement form and residential type,and the architectural form develops with social demand.In the study of Tujia residential types,the law of development and change among different types is summarized.This paper studies and analyzes the commonness of different public spaces of Tujia nationality,explores the relationship between wooden frame,enclosure system and public space form,and points out the way of spatial topological change under the system of column and tie construction.From the construction point of view,the research divides the house into four systems: the base and the floor,the timber frame,the roof and the enclosure.It points out that the modularization,the assembly and the highly simplification of the mortise and tenon joints of the timber frame make it has the characteristics of flexibility,adaptability and variability.The convenient disassembly of the enclosure system provides the technical support for shaping the elastic space.Based on the idea that the building is always in dynamic change,the research is carried out in the activation design of Lianghekou old street.First of all,the public space of Lianghe village will be reconstructed through layer by layer planning.Secondly,with the help of the openness and spatial variability of the wood structure system of Tujia fold houses,the overall spatial capacity of the old street complex is operated.The design selects three typical patterns for research,based on which the old street building can produce a variety of variants according to the needs.Every change of space form is the rebirth of the old street,and the old street under this design method will be sustainable development.
