Traffic jams and parking difficulties have become a common problem in today’s cities.It could not fundamentally solve the increasingly prominent contradiction between the supply and demand of parking through blindly building new parking lots and increasing the supply of parking spaces,but will make the urban parking system fall into a vicious circle.The research shows that the transit oriented development(TOD)area can significantly reduce residents’ parking demand because of its developed public transport level,hybrid land development mode and people-oriented superior slow travel environment,which provides a new way to guide the research of parking supply and demand.Therefore,this paper proposes the concept of "supply and demand" in urban TOD area to study the parking supply scale of urban TOD area.First of all,it summarizes the general situation of urban TOD area parking development,introduces the development background,concept,form and functional structure of TOD concept,and clarifies the classification standards of different types of urban TOD areas and the main types of urban Tod.By studying the typical cases of TOD community parking abroad and the concept of TOD regional development,it shows that TOD region has significant benefits in restraining car travel,reducing parking demand and promoting the sustainable development of urban transportation system.Secondly,the paper points out the practical difficulties faced by the implementation of urban parking policy and the formulation goal of parking supply strategy.From the perspectives of minimum parking supply index,parking sharing,parking fees,parking guidance,street parking,parking and transfer,three-dimensional parking,building intelligent parking platform and building parking benefit area,it has formulated parking supply strategy for different types of TOD,and created a parking supply strategy for different types of TOD A set of multi-level and multi angle TOD parking supply strategy selection system covering both upper design and micro construction.Then,it clarifies the interactive relationship between parking supply and demand in TOD area which is different from general urban area,puts forward the parking space planning concept of "supply and demand" in TOD area,and explores the true meaning of "supply and demand balance" of parking facilities under TOD development concept.Compared with the urban area under the traditional land development mode,this paper studies the main influencing factors of parking supply and demand in TOD area.Finally,based on the analysis of factors affecting the parking,and the classification of the types of parking,the scale model of TOD regional parking supply is established in stages.The model is solved and corrected,which shows that different types of TOD traffic environment and resource carrying capacity are limited and different.This paper summarizes the current situation of TOD parking development in Shenzhen,and uses the TOD of Luohu station as an actual case to study the application of the model.
