Study On The Morphology Of Historic Districts In Yixian Ancient City Based On Urban Typo-morphology

The Yixian ancient city was built in the Liao Dynasty and was called Yizhou in ancient times.It is located about 50 kilometers north of Jinzhou City,Liaoning Province.The existing important historical architectural heritage in the ancient city includes Fengguo Temple and Guangsheng Temple Tower,a key cultural relic protection unit in the country.In the past 40 years of rapid urban development,along with commercial demolition,the historical environment surrounding the historical architectural heritage has been destroyed,and their connection with the single architectural heritage has been severed.The style of the historical city is created by the single architectural heritage and the surrounding historical blocks.Together,they form the complete spatial form of the historical town and convey complete historical information.However,the protection of ordinary historical houses in the ancient city of Yixian County has not received enough attention,facing the dual threat of natural decline and man-made destruction.At present,about 45% of the historical blocks in the Yixian ancient city have not been protected or repaired,but have been demolished.Replaced by uncoordinated multi-story modern residential buildings,this trend is seriously threatening the historical neighborhoods surrounding important architectural heritage.The decline of the historical environment is also the destruction of the value of architectural heritage.It is very important and urgent for the ancient city of Yixian County to protect the complete historical district and ensure the integrity of the architectural heritage.Based on the research framework of urban typo-morphology,combined with contemporary technical means,this paper conducts a qualitative and quantitative morphological analysis of the historical cities in the existing historic districts in the Yixian ancient city.This paper draws on the basic theoretical methods of urban typo-morphology,from the macro to the micro,the urban morphology research and evolution analysis of the roads,blocks,property plots and buildings in the historical blocks of Yixian ancient city.The research result is the protection of the ancient city.Provide basic information with development.In the current situation of the endangered historic districts of the ancient city,the important significance of this article is to rescue and sort out the historical city and historical architectural heritage of the Yixian ancient city,and to provide important basic data for the protection and development of the ancient city.At the same time,based on the qualitative theoretical research of traditional morphology,the use of Grasshopper software,ladybug plug-in and other contemporary technical means to supplement and expand quantitative research,enriches the methods of urban typo-morphology research.This article is divided into four parts: The first part(Chapter 1)is an introduction,which explains the background of the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,the scope and methods of the research.The second part(Chapter 2-5)is the study of the elements of the ancient city form,including the analysis of the overall situation of the Yixian ancient city,including the nature,economy,culture,history,and urban heritage;the classification,evolution and form of the road system,road density and walkability Relevant analysis;blocks shape type,building density inside blocks,solar radiation analysis;property plot type,boundary speculation of traditional courtyard,courtyard solar radiation analysis;existing traditional residential statistics,preservation degree analysis,overall and detailed morphological features,restoration of traditional courtyard planes,etc.The third part(Chapter6)is the research on the morphological protection of historic districts.It puts forward the existing problems of the historic districts.According to the previous research,it proposes morphological protection strategies for roads,courtyards and buildings,and designs the tourist routes of the historic districts for the future development of the ancient city.Provide ideas.The fourth part is the conclusion,summarizing the morphological characteristics of the elements at each level of the ancient city: The structure of the ancient city is an eccentric cross street;the intricate but well-defined roads;the blocks dominated by square and horizontal strips;the plots formed by the division of historical courtyards;ordinary and rustic traditional houses,etc.
