The shaft is extensively used in the mechanical field,so its rapid modeling is of great significance for the designer to improve design efficiency.The traditional rapid modeling method of shaft parts is based on the assembling process of shape feature or 3D graphics unit.This thesis studies the reusing method of existing shaft parts based on feature modeling and parametric design technology to realize rapid modeling of shaft parts.The main work of this article includes:In the situation of parametric CAD based on feature modeling,the existing shaft models would be adaptively modified based on the required 3D graphics units.For common 3D graphics units in shaft models such as cylindrical shaft segments and gear shaft segments,the appropriate feature modeling method is selected according to the unit shape,internal feature composition and other factors to automatically create the internal features.Aiming at the alteration of the feature association relationship caused by the insertion and deletion of the middle shaft segment,the affected features are reconstructed to restore the correctness of feature relationship.Firstly,the feature attribute adjacency graph of shaft model is constructed to express the relationship between the various shape features of the model,and the related graph algorithm is used on the subgraph composed of the affected features to determine the reconstruction order.Then,collecting the feature definition data and shape data required for reconstruction.Finally,the reconstruction of the affected features is completed after the shaft segment is inserted and deleted.During the reconstruction process,geometric description of the features that have any sub-features is performed to determine the geometric correspondence between pre-reconstruction version and post-reconstruction of these features,so as to provide a reference for the subsequent reconstruction of features to be reconstructed.In this thesis,based on the PTC Creo platform,visual C++2019 is used for secondary development to build a shaft models reuse system.And this system is used to complete the rapid creation of multiple shaft model instances.The experiments show that this method can effectively realize the reuse of specific existing shaft model,thereby improving the modeling efficiency of new shaft parts.
