| With the acceleration of economic globalization,it has brought good development opportunities for overseas engineering projects.How to improve the effectiveness of overseas engineering project teams and efficiently proceed the implementation of overseas engineering projects has become an important task for enterprises to seize opportunities for international development.The paper takes the RP Company’s overseas engineering project team as its research object,combines with life cycle and other related theories,while uses a combination of data collection,case studies,questionnaire surveys and interviews,to systematically study the efficiency and its improvement of the RP Company’s overseas engineering project team,by following aspects:First,explain the research background,research purpose and significance,research ideas,research contents and methods.Secondly,explore the theoretical basis of the paper research and related research status.Defining the basic concepts such as overseas engineering project team effectiveness,elaborates the guiding effect of life cycle theory,person-post matching theory,incentive theory and other related theories on the research of this paper.To sort out,refine and review of existing related research at domestic and foreign.Thirdly,systematically analyze the RP Company’s overseas engineering project team’s effectiveness.Through questionnaire surveys and interviews,summarize the performance of RP Company’s overseas engineering project team’s effectiveness.The conclusion is that the teams performed well in the concerted efforts,role definition,and application of professional knowledge.Meanwhile,there are existing problems such as lack of external communication,insufficient innovation in the work,not enough enthusiasm of the project team members,high turnover rate of the staff and instability of the team.Combined with the related theory and practice survey results,this paper analyzes the factors that affect the project team effectiveness.Fourthly,in response to the development requirements of the enterprise,current situation and existing problems of RP Company’s overseas engineering project team’s effectiveness,puts forward ideas,countermeasures and implementation paths to improve its effectiveness.Put forward the division of RP Company’s overseas engineering project team’s life cycle stage,establish a theoretical model of overseas engineering project team effectiveness improvement,establish a team life cycle management system according to the characteristics of the team life cycle,while modify the responsibilities of department,improve the salary and welfare and performance evaluation mechanism,etc.Two overseas engineering project teams of RP Company with same scale,similar team member structure and in the same life cycle stage were selected as the experimental objects to test the team effectiveness improvement measures.Fifthly,summarize and conclude the paper.Summarize the basic conclusions,innovations and contributions of the paper,as well as the shortcomings and prospects. |
