Since the reform and opening up,my country’s urbanization process has been greatly promoted.The urbanization rate has exceeded 60% from less than 20% in the early stage of reform and opening up to 60% by 2020.With the rapid urbanization process,a largescale labor force seeks to achieve higher levels.Higher wage levels and more employment opportunities flow between rural and urban,urban and urban areas.Unreasonable labor allocation has a certain negative impact on urban industry and economic and social development.Therefore,many scholars focus on how to scientifically Reasonably guide labor mobility,among which a large number of studies have focused on the impact of urban characteristics,such as public service levels and infrastructure,on labor mobility.At the same time,there are still many problems that need to be solved in the development process of the transportation facilities,which are the main characteristics of the city.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has put forward the topic of the era of "building a powerful country in transportation".Rapid development can significantly change the face of my country’s urban and rural areas and realize the dream of a modern and powerful country.Therefore,the scientific development of my country’s transportation facilities has attracted more and more attention from society and scholars.Therefore,under such a social macro background,studying the relationship between transportation facilities and labor mobility can not only provide reasonable countermeasures for guiding labor mobility,but also explore the significance and role of the development of transportation facilities.This article first sorts out the historical process of labor mobility in my country,and analyzes the demographic structure,mobility scope,employment distribution,and willingness of urbanization of labor mobility on the basis of micro-survey data,as an important entry point for this article.Based on the principle of index construction,this paper constructs a comprehensive index system for evaluating the development level of urban transportation facilities.And using statistical data,according to the principal component analysis method to calculate the comprehensive score value of the level of urban transportation facilities,as a data basis for analyzing the development status of my country’s transportation facilities and later empirical research.On the basis of the existing literature and related theories,this article combs the impact of the two aspects of transportation infrastructure and public transportation facilities on labor mobility,and analyzes the impact of transportation facilities on labor mobility from both macro and micro perspectives.Influence Mechanism.Finally,a conditional Logit regression model is constructed based on the theory of individual labor force utility.Through the use of CMDS micro-data and statistical data at the prefecture-level city level,the impact mechanism of transportation facilities on labor mobility is empirically tested,and relevant policy recommendations are put forward based on the research conclusions.Through the method of combining theoretical and empirical research,this paper mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)After calculating the comprehensive evaluation score of transportation facilities using provincial-level statistical data in 2012 and 2017,it is found that the current level of development of transportation facilities in my country There is a regional difference between the high in the east and the low in the west.According to calculations,the three provinces and cities with the highest level of transportation facilities are Guangdong,Jiangsu and Shandong,all located in the eastern region,while the lowest provinces and cities are Ningxia and Tibet,which are located in the west.Regions,and this regional difference has not been effectively improved between 2012 and 2017.(2)Through the empirical analysis of the conditional Logit regression model,it can be found that transportation facilities play a positive role in the decision-making of labor mobility.Among them,when the level of urban transportation infrastructure increases by 1%,the probability of the city being selected increases by 0.4%.When the city’s public transport level increases by 1%,the probability of the city being selected increases by 0.1%.(3)The level of public transportation facilities has a significant "inverted U-shaped" impact on labor mobility,with the inflection point at 9.3.The average value of public transportation in the sample cities is-0.11,which is much smaller than the inflection point,indicating that except for Beijing,Except for the two first-tier cities in Shanghai,the impact of the level of public transportation facilities in other cities on the labor force is still in the promotion before the turning point.(4)The sample cities are divided into three regions: east,middle,and west.Compared with the other two regions,when labor chooses cities that flow into the central region,the development level of urban transportation facilities plays a greater role in mobility decision-making.Impact:From the perspective of public transportation turning point,the turning point value of cities located in the eastern region is also significantly higher than that of other regions.(5)From the perspective of labor heterogeneity,with the increase of age,the labor force pays more and more attention to the development level of urban public transportation facilities when making mobility decisions,while the younger labor force pays more attention to the level of transportation infrastructure;With the improvement of education level,labor is more inclined to flow into cities with higher transportation facilities.Finally,based on the research conclusions,this article reasonably puts forward several suggestions on the construction of transportation facilities,in order to more rationally guide the flow of labor,and scientifically invest in transportation facilities,so as to optimize the industrial space layout and promote the development of regional economic integration in China.
