In the current residential districts construction, the development body usually focuseson its own benefits rather than the holistic consideration of the resource distribution, theresource waste and excess coexists. Meanwhile, as the public transportation is dominant,it is important to discuss how to coordinate the spatial layout of public transportationand public service facilities to improve the living quality. However the developmentbody tends to oversee the dominant status of public transportation and the mutual linkwith public service facilities which leads to the increase of cost of commute time andthe decrease of living quality.Based on the phenomenon mentioned above, this dissertation will focus on twoquestions. The second one is how to link the public transportationwith the service facilities since the leading role of the public transportation in urbandevelopment. Thus this dissertation will conduct the qualitative and quantitative research on thetwo questions. Firstly, based on the case study of the three residential districts in BinhuDistrict, Hefei, it will survey and analyze the differences of the service facilities in newtown, and try to find the root cause.
