| With the enrollment expansion of colleges and universities, the number and size of classrooms continue to increase. The growth and development of students is closely related to the classroom space environment. The quality of the environment will affect the subjective emotions of teachers and students, and also have a certain impact on the teaching quality and teaching activities. The amphitheatre is an essential part of the university classroom, which has a large space scale, serves a large number of students, and has a variety of teaching functions. Therefore,it is more important and urgent to study its spatial characteristics and emotional response.Based on environmental behavioral psychology, gestalt psychology and other related theories, this paper uses virtual reality technology to simulate the real scene of the lecture theatre space, evaluates the simulation experience of the space from the perspective of visual perception, and uses semantic differential method as a quantitative tool to complete quantitative analysis and empirical test of spatial characteristics.Firstly, through field research, literature and normative research, the prototype spatial model of the lecture theatre was built.Combined with relevant research results at home and abroad, the emotional responses and corresponding spatial characteristics closely related to the lecture theatre space experience were identified. Then, the virtual scene was established by VR to conduct variable control research on a single spatial feature, and the influence of different indicators of a single spatial feature on emotion was obtained by SD method. The experimental results were analyzed by SPSS software, and the design recommendation values of each spatial feature were obtained by comprehensive analysis of variance and preference degree. Finally, the model was reorganized according to the optimization indicators of the spatial characteristics of the amphitheatre, and the second experimental evaluation was conducted to verify the validity of the experimental conclusions, and preliminary suggestions were put forward for the optimal design of the amphitheatre space. The paper is divided into five parts. The first part mainly introduces the research background, clarifies the medium-sized amphitheatre as the research object, discusses the theoretical application scope and research objectives, and formulates the research methods and framework. The second part is the research status of the modern public amphitheatre at home and abroad, which strengthens the theoretical basis of spatial perception quantification.Analyze the advantages and feasibility of SD method and virtual reality technology in the field of space design, and the methods and means of practical application; The third part mainly sorts out the relevant literature and norms of the lecture theatre, and summarizes and determines the spatial prototype of the lecture theatre in this paper based on the field research. On the basis of the prototype, the relevant spatial characteristic indicators are selected. The fourth part is the construction of the core experimental methods and processes.Through the detailed analysis of the analysis tools, the screening of perceptual evaluation factors and the design of the questionnaire, the data analysis methods and results are discussed. The fifth part is the verification of the experimental conclusions. It mainly evaluates the optimal spatial characteristic indexes obtained from the experimental conclusions and compares them with the prototype amphitheatre, and puts forward relevant optimization design suggestions.. |
