With the improvement of the requirements for children’s English education in our country,the undesirable consequences of dumb English brought about by the mechanical displacement teaching of traditional knowledge,the English teaching method for the purpose of practical application has been paid more attention.Relying on the popularization of emerging technologies such as 5G,artificial intelligence,big data,and the Internet of Things,various English teaching aids have emerged in the market.Children’s English teaching is no longer limited to the classroom,and the number of users of English learning products with portability,intelligence and strong interactive functions is increasing.How to provide learners with opportunities for oral English practice through technical support such as intelligent networking and diverse interactivity to improve their English proficiency has become a research focus of English learning products.PBL(Project-based learning)teaching is a teaching method that is based on project practice and aims to solve problems and improve the ability of knowledge application.The process of PBL teaching mode includes the tasks of teaching learning content,creating knowledge application scenarios,and applying knowledge to solve problems.Activity practice,reflection and summary of learning results.The PBL teaching model provides a theoretical basis and implementation means for the realization of learning product functions aimed at oral English practice.Based on this background,this article proposes a PBL teaching method as a basis for teaching implementation to realize the practical application of children’s oral English knowledge As the goal,improve learning efficiency and optimize the learning experience as a result of the design method of spoken English learning products.The main research contents are as follows:(1)User research.Through literature review,it is concluded that children’s oral English learning is divided into three stages: silence,formula,and construction.According to the learning stage,the user groups are divided into three categories.Through the research of English learning related literature,it is found that the acquisition of English knowledge is divided into three cycles of comprehension and reuse.The characteristics of users’ English learning at each stage and the specific behaviors of knowledge acquisition are studied,and the user’s behavior in the three stages is analyzed.Oral English learning methods and teaching needs.(2)The construction of oral English PBL teaching behavior,which integrates the learning methods and teaching needs of users at various stages,based on the characteristics of learners at different stages,simulates the learning process of oral English under the PBL mode,and structuralizes the teaching content of oral English PBL.Analyze user needs in the learning process and refine the core functions of oral English PBL learning products.(3)Functional design of spoken English PBL learning products,analyze product usage scenarios,and determine the implementation carrier and functional framework of spoken English learning products.Through the analysis of the product function framework,it is found that the functions of the product are mainly divided into two categories: content presentation and auxiliary guidance.Based on the user characteristics in the English learning stage,design the way of learning product functions to implement oral English PBL teaching,analyze the derivative needs of users in the process of using the function,design solutions,and transform the solutions into the realization elements of the learning product interface,according to The common output of product functions,spoken English PBL,learns product design strategies.(4)Oral English PBL learning product interface design,analyze the interaction behavior between learners and interface functional elements,and design the expression form and usage method of the English oral PBL learning product function on the product page.
