Hualong No.1 is the third generation 1000 MW pressurized nuclear power plant with entire independent intellectual property,filling gaps of this technology in China.Hulong No.1 c is highly crucial to optimize the energy mix,implement the development plan of nuclear power,safeguard energy security and protect the environment.For now,Hualong No.1 becomes the first choice of nuclear power plant to be constructed and participates in the competition with other third generation power plant in international market.To enhance competitiveness of Hualong No.1,we should apply more advanced building technologies so as to shorten its construction period and increase the economical efficiency.This paper gives out the overall level of building schedule for the third generation nuclear power plant via investigating the schedule and advanced building technologies of other foreign generation nuclear power plants in USA,France,Canada,Japan and Korea.Specifically speaking,this paper also indicates the principles,characteristics and preconditions of theses different technologies.At the same time,the current situation and limitation could also be found in this research on optimizing methods of different schedules.By using critical path method and analogical analysis method,this paper confirms the schedule of the first Hualong No.1,and gives the critical path of construction,installation and start-up phase.And all this results can be used to optimize schedule of Hualong No.1.Moreover,expert assessment method and three point estimation method are used to estimate the schedule of different building stages for its accuracy.Besides,Monte Carlo method is exerted to analyze the probability distribution which demonstrates the reasonability of Hualong No.1’s schedule.The characteristics of Hualong No.1,the capabilities of construction,installation,commission institutes and equipment suppliers should be fully taken into consideration since there are many advanced building technologies used in nuclear power plant.So this paper analyzes the schedule optimizing strategy and feasibilities of opening-top construction,before-paste method of stainless steel surface,outside containment design and construction optimizing,start-up schedule optimizing method,modularization construction,annular crane optimizing,containment steel lining and barrel concrete construction optimizing,prefab rebar net.Finally,this paper selects seven advanced building technologies and illustrates the contribution to the schedule of Hualong No.1.Given to its application,this paper makes efficiency analysis of advanced building technologies.Thus,the schedule has been shortened and critical path has been changed.This paper also provides a 56 months’ schedule based on the new critical path and analyzes the risks that might affect the optimizing process so as to keep this objective under control.
