Research On Optimization Design Of Waiting Space Environment Of University Hospital Based On Evidence-Based Design

With the continuous advancement of the hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system in China,a large number of new,rebuilt and expanded medical projects have continued to emerge,but mainly concentrated in the field of large general hospitals.As a special type of primary diagnosis in the hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system,university hospitals are responsible for the basic medical services,disease prevention,and health education of teachers and students throughout the school.It plays an extremely important role in dealing with public health emergencies,directly related to the life,health and safety of teachers and students,but it has been ignored.Since the expansion of enrollment in colleges and universities,the number of teachers and students in the school has continued to grow,and the school hospitals have been unable to meet the growing scale of medical treatment,nor to provide high-quality medical services,facing increasing pressure.As an important part of the hospital space system,the waiting space is the area with the most intensive patients and the longest stay time,which directly affects the physical and mental health of patients.However,through a large number of investigations,the author found that there are still many problems such as poor lighting,ventilation environment and crowded crowds in the waiting space of the school hospital,which not only affects the medical experience of teachers and students,but also easily cause bad emotions,such as anxiety,boredom,and even cross infection.The “ COVID-19 ” also exposed serious problems in the waiting space of the school hospital.Therefore,research on the optimization of the waiting room environment of university hospitals is urgently needed.Evidence-Based Design,as the mainstream design method in the medical environment field,increases the process of scientific evaluation and evidence finding of the hospital environment,and it is more scientific and rigorous to optimize the waiting space environment of the school hospital according to the best evidence.In this paper,the waiting space environment of university hospitals is taken as the research object.Six representative college hospitals in Shenzhen and Guangzhou are selected to optimize the design of the waiting space environment under the guidance of evidence-based design theory.The article first introduces and combs the evidence-based design and related theories of waiting space in colleges and universities through literature research.Then it summarizes the current status of the use of waiting space environment through field surveys,data measurement and other methods,and surveys users through survey questionnaires and interviews.Carry out the evaluation of satisfaction and subjective tendency,so as to understand the user’s subjective feelings,needs and preferences of the existing waiting space environment,and then use critical thinking to evaluate the above information to obtain the original design of the waiting space environment optimization design.evidence.Finally,according to the best evidence,the paper puts forward the feasible optimization design principles and strategies for the waiting space environment of University Hospital,and takes Shenzhen university hospital as an example to explore the optimization design,combining theory and practice.Through the research of this topic,I hope to provide theoretical basis and design reference for the improvement of the quality of the waiting space environment of the old school hospital and the design of the waiting space of the new school hospital in the future.
