Under the development demand of energy transformation,solar energy,as a safe and clean new energy,has been widely used in the construction field.In the planning and design of residential area,the layout mode of buildings has a great impact on the solar radiation of residential area.Different layout can make the total solar radiation of building facade change by 20%-80%.However,in the layout of residential areas,designers usually only pay attention to the single goal of maximizing land use efficiency,thus ignoring the overall utilization of solar radiation in residential areas.This will undoubtedly cause waste of natural resources for solar energy rich areas such as Lhasa.Reasonable residential layout is the premise of solar energy utilization.The research on the relationship between solar radiation utilization and residential layout in Lhasa is of great significance to promote building energy conservation and improve the efficiency of solar energy utilization in residential areas.In this paper,the residential layout model as the main research object,combined with the characteristics of solar energy resources in Lhasa City,through a large number of field and network research,using the Ecotect building energy consumption simulation software to analyze the amount of solar radiation received by residential facade under different layout modes,and calculate the influence of different design elements such as orientation,building spacing,gable spacing on solar radiation acquisition.Combining solar radiation value as a scientific quantitative index with the residential design of Lhasa City,this paper summarizes the optimization method of residential area design with the amount of solar radiation as the influencing factor,so as to provide convenience for rational use of solar radiation in Lhasa urban collective residential area in the future.Through the simulation study of residential layout mode and design elements,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The plane layout mode of Lhasa multi-storey collective residential area is the mixed determinant,and the vertical staggered layout mode of high-rise residential area is the most conducive to the use of solar radiation.When there are buildings of different heights in the residential area,they should be arranged according to the rules of low in the south and high in the north,low in the west and high in the east.(2)The most suitable orientation of parallel determinant,horizontal staggered type and vertical staggered type is from south to southeast 15 degrees.The most suitable orientation of the mixed staggered pattern is southwest 15 degrees to 30 degrees.(3)Considering the utilization of solar radiation and land use efficiency,the space between residential buildings in Lhasa should be controlled between 1.35 h and 1.55 h.(4)The space between Gables in different layout patterns is quite different,so the appropriate space between Gables should be selected for layout design.Finally,the paper summarizes the above research results,puts forward the optimization strategy of residential layout based on Solar Radiation Utilization in Lhasa,and uses the strategy to guide the completion of four residential design,and verifies the feasibility of the optimization strategy through the design practice.
