The Summary Review Of Shaanxi Province Traditional House And Settlement History Studies(1934-2019)

One of the foundations of traditional Chinese academic research is the use of literature to verify the context of its academic development,that is,the literature is a synonym for "recording all the carriers of all knowledge." Currently in the information age,the explosion of knowledge has become a kind of normalization.The speed of knowledge update is much faster than the speed at which people accept and understand knowledge.With the rapid increase in the number of documents,it is now difficult to see the whole picture through a glimpse.It urgently needs to be summarized.Based on the "distant reading" concept of digital humanities and the method of bibliometrics,it quantitatively summarizes the existing research results of traditional houses and settlements in Shaanxi,and sorts out the research process.First of all,based on the collection of 1,236 academic papers and more than 50 books,the method of "distant reading" is used to quantitatively analyze and describe the research picture from four aspects:(1)The macro-evolution characteristics of the research on Shaanxi residential and settlements from the perspective of the key words of the thesis.(2)Shaanxi folk houses and settlements under the scientific knowledge map.(3)Compared the relationship between related research in Shaanxi and the whole country.(4)The relationship between the research on Shaanxi residential buildings and the research on residential buildings in other regions conducted by construction workers in Shaanxi.In addition,this research discusses the development process of traditional residential and settlement research in Shaanxi since the 1930 s,and divides it into three development stages:Early exploration(in the 1930s-reform and opening up),steady development(reform and opening up-early 21 st century),diversified and prosperous(early 21 st century-now).On this basis,the major events of each stage are interpreted.Finally,from the existing general history of Shaanxi and national residencerelated works,Shaanxi folk houses and settlements research works and 98 representative academic papers,the research content is summarized,and the specific eight research topics and 21 specific research directions are sorted out.This study provides more detailed basic data on traditional houses and settlements in Shaanxi,and provides a theoretical reference for the protection,development and inheritance of traditional houses and settlements in Shaanxi in the future.At the same time,it provides research reference samples for digital humanities research.Finally,to a certain extent,it promoted the development of the discipline of Folk House Architecture in my country.
