The Structure Of Traditional Folk House Of Ankang And The Exploration Of Architectural Details

This article proceeds with exploration of the regional characteristic of traditional residenceof Ankang, successively expound the regional structure characteristics of its residentialdwellings, which include the characteristics of site field type, of functional type, of plane typeand of load-carrying type. By the mutual comparison of these characteristics, it clearly revealstheir influencing factors.Because of the superiority of the geographical environment and its convenient waterwaytransportation, the traditional dwellings of Ankang appear diversified characteristics and itsdevelopment is influenced by surrounding areas. Therefore they take on the characteristics ofcompatibleness, which mainly manifest in the architectural details. By dividing thearchitecture into three parts, this article analyzes the architectural details by putting them intothe architecture as a whole. The details are split into three parts, which are the detail of theroof, of the body and of the base. Thus the analysis of each detail makes up an organic whole.Meanwhile, the article gives a specific analysis of the location, the structural characteristic,the feature of shape and the practical function of the traditional architectural details of Ankangcombining with concrete examples.According to these characteristics, a concrete analysis of architecture can reflect itsunderlying characteristics. And based on field investigations, this article gives a briefdescription of the conservation problems of traditional residence. And finally, combined withcurrent situation, rethink the immigration building which is under construction.
