The Research On The Spirit Of Place Of Traditional Human Settlements In Huizhou

The traditional villages in Huizhou are one of the outstanding representatives of traditional Chinese settlements.This paper,taking Huizhou traditional villages as the object of study,with focus on the harmonious characteristics of human settlements in traditional Huizhou villages,investigates and analyzes the characteristics and significance of place making and the spirit of place,and explores the connotation of the spirit of place and its construction techniques in the traditional human living environment,so as to provide reference for the construction of harmonious human settlements in contemporary times.Based on the comprehensive application of knowledge of design studies,science of human settlement,social ethics and other disciplines,this paper combines the relevant literature at home and abroad.This paper conducts a field survey of typical traditional villages in the core area of Huizhou culture to find out the construction methods of traditional human settlements in Huizhou.With focus on its the spirit of place,this paper draws the following conclusions: the construction of the traditional human settlements pursues a humanistic mood and spiritual temperament,which is based on Chinese traditional culture and regional culture,and is integrated into the human settlements and human interaction.The concept of defining pace and creating feelings by scenery can be summed up.The design techniques of gathering,linking up,Reconstruction and interaction can make people’s impression memory turn to emotional identity by strengthening the spatial context of traditional living environment,combining activity experience with spatial design.Although the quality of human settlements in the new era has been significantly improved,there are inevitably some disharmonious notes.If not properly adjusted,it may lead to the lack of the the the spirit of place of human settlements.From the discussion of the spiritual construction of the place of human settlements in traditional villages of Huizhou,the author gets the inspiration for the design of human settlements in the new era: people in the new era pay more attention to spiritual experience,the design of human settlements should pay attention to the construction of the spirit of place,pay attention to the connection of natural features and regional characteristics,establish the all-round harmonious relationship between human beings and the environment,and add changes to the design of the place To create a multilevel activity environment space through various life experiences.
