From Residential District To Harmonious Community: New Period Calling New Residential Mode

Facing the ecological crisis and the many problems accompanying with the globalization and the urbanization, in good time our country puts forward an assertion of establishing harmonious society. Its main contents have three-layer connotation: one is the harmony of person and nature, two is the harmony of person and person, and three is the harmony of person and society. As the residential district is the basic cell of the society, establishing the harmony in the residential district should be an important respect of establishing the harmony in the society. Establishing harmonious community is a question at the front of our current society and the development direction of the community.With the west breezing east gently, the development theories of community are valued gradually, but the predominant idea of programming of our current residential district is still under the influence of the idea of modernism programming whose core is about material body programming. For a long time, one of the performances of our urbanization is saving land by high-density exploitation. The end causes the environment broken and the inhospitality among person, the so-called saving resources is the price of lowering living quality and increasing environment load, resulting in a larger wasting. Residential district shouldn't only be the admixture of reinforced concrete, which has the vitality equally. Satisfying the spirit demand of inhabitant is quite indispensable to the sustainable development research of residential district.Aiming at the current some contradiction and problems appearing in the development of our residential district, joining together the true condition of our country and the current social developing stage, drawing lessons from the experience of the west developed nation, and conforming to Times developing trend, this paper tries to discuss and solve those from three levels of urban planning, residential district design and housing design, pointing out the places revised and the trend of our residential district, and makes it systematizing for the theories research of establishing harmonious community, then hopes to discuss the new residential mode.
