| With the accelerated pace of urbanisation,communities have become the basic unit of urban governance in the context of stock optimisation and were an important place to meet people’s expectations for a better life and to realise democratic grassroots governance.This paper focused on a series of complex issues such as internal management,environment,and sustainability in old communities,and aimed to develop innovative communities under the new era of “co-creation”.The project explored an innovative community governance model,and built a set of strategies,paths,and methods to improve the quality of public space and the public culture system in old communities.The technical route of the thesis is " background research-theoretical research-model exploration-path planning-practical demonstration".Firstly,the background study analysed current problems faced by older communities in the context of rapid urbanisation.Secondly,it compared the characteristics of mature community governance models and outstanding innovative governance cases at home and abroad.Through the understanding of theories and case studies,we proposed to take "co-creation" as the starting point to explore the innovative community governance model in China,proposed three major elements of co-creation community governance: "common awareness","common design" and "common creation",as well as six strategies: "consensus-common planning-common evaluation-common construction-common management-common sharing".A study of the pluralistic participant,co-operative participatory design and democratization of community governance,and the construction of community self-organization and self-governance mechanisms.Based on this system of thinking,we designed and planned the corresponding realization paths and methods,put them into practice in the project of the old district of the Shengwei Committee.The three action paths(i.e.,"pre-awakening action","mid-design activation action" and "postcreation and maintenance action")were proposed in response to the three elements.This was an innovative model of community regeneration,which was based on the concept of co-creation,and was implemented through the transformation of local public spaces. |
