In the background of the rapid development of the mobile Internet era and the growing maturity of AIo T technology,the concept of "ecological chain" in the product field has been proposed and known to the public.Eco-chain companies are rapidly emerging and becoming an integral part of the smart living space,changing and redefining people’s way of life.However,the multi-category feature of eco-chain products makes it easy to cause confusion in product semantics under the fast-changing market environment by purely market-oriented design.Design for each single product of each series individually will consume a lot of design and R&D cycles,and the repeated operation of constant design will also cause a waste of manpower and time resources.How to carry out fast and efficient product innovation and quickly unify product styles has become a difficult problem in front of the eco-chain companies.With the rapid development of computer technology and digital design,traditional industrial design methods are gradually being replaced by new design tools and design ideas.As a design method and design idea,parametric has strong logic and flexibility,which brings a new design way for the product field.This study firstly clarified the application and theoretical development of parametric design,and selected Grasshopper,a certain representative parametric chemical tool currently in the industrial and construction areas,as the research tool to find out the internal correlation between parametric design and geometric aesthetics.Then,the design characteristics and modeling elements of 3C ecological chain products were summarized and extracted through the investigation of product series of related ecological chain companies,and the design elements were transformed into dynamic parameter data by using parameterization method,thus the design method of parameterization in 3C ecological chain products was proposed.Finally,the product parameterization design practice was carried out.Taking Bluetooth speaker as the research object,design parameters were extracted and overall parameterization logic was constructed,and different series of product schemes were generated.The product "ecological chain gene" was established and applied to other ecological chain products such as desktop lamp and humidifier,so as to obtain a series of ecological chain products with a unified style.This study aimed to combine geometric aesthetics theory with parametric design,explore the design methods and processes of parametric design in the design of 3C ecological chain products,and provide a possible design reference for the overall style unification of ecological chain products and the rapid iteration of product series in the form of "ecological chain gene".It proved the efficiency,rigor and feasibility of parameterization in the field of product design of 3C ecological chain,and provided a new design idea for other related types of product design.
