| In 2017,Beijing issued a new version of the city master plan, proposing to build a historical and cultural protection system that "connects the past and connects the future",and jointly promote the overall protection and utilization of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt, the Great Wall Cultural Belt and the Yongding River Cultural Belt in the West Mountains.Among them,Yongding River,as the oldest natural river with the largest basin area in Beijing, plays a vital role in the urban development of Beijing and the formation and evolution of surrounding villages. When Yongding River enters Beijing from Guanting Reservoir,it first passes through the west of Beijing, where a large number of historical and cultural resources are collected and preserved.Among them, traditional villages are the most concentrated material space that can reflect Yongding River culture. From village selection to space construction, the influence of rivers on traditional villages runs through them all the time. Therefore, the study of traditional villages in the west of Beijing from the perspective of river basin is not only conducive to excavating the cultural connotation of Yongding River and constructing the cultural belt of Yongding River in the west mountains, but also conducive to improving the current protection and development of traditional villages and promoting the overall protection of traditional villages.Based on the above background, this paper investigates and studies the traditional villages in the Yongding River Basin in the west of Beijing.By analyzing the characteristics of the spatial pattern of the traditional villages,it determines the spatial relationship and cultural association between the rivers and the villages, and puts forward the protection and development strategies of the traditional villages with Yongding River as the background. The whole research is divided into four parts.First, starting from the history and cultural evolution of Yongding River, the interactive relationship between humans and Yongding River in different periods is summarized to clarify the guiding role of rivers in the development of traditional villages.Secondly, through historical data and field research, the spatial data of traditional villages in Yongding River and Beijing West were sorted out,and Arc GIS was used to analyze and summarize the spatial distribution characteristics of traditional villages as well as the influencing factors of village site selection.Thirdly, taking village space as the research subject, this paper analyzes the influence of rivers on village space construction from the aspects of natural, cultural and military attributes.Fourthly, taking Yongding River as the clue, the traditional villages in Yongding River Basin are divided into different types based on the basic principles of integrity and difference, and the protection and development strategies for each type of village groups are proposed. The innovation of this paper lies in clarifying the transformation logic of natural space and cultural space in Yongding River Basin from the perspective of river basin, summarizing the relationship between traditional villages, and then summarizing the spatial pattern and evolution model of traditional villages. It is helpful for people to have a comprehensive and clear understanding of traditional villages and the culture of Yongding River in the Xishan Mountains, rather than fragmentation and vagueness. At the same time, this paper constructs a new spatial system of traditional villages from the perspective of regional and multi-level space, which can provide practical suggestions for the protection and development of traditional villages in the west of Beijing and the construction of the Yongding River cultural belt in the western mountains. |
